Floyd did argue for awhile about the purse split, but in the end both camps agreed to a 50/50 split. In the end it fell apart because of the drug testing issue.
“The only issue was that we asked for the drug testing to take place 14 days before the fight, and everybody agreed on that except Mayweather. So that’s why the fight fell apart. The 50-50 split was never in dispute,” - Bob Arum.
But you are right, the fight would be huge now but would have been even bigger in 2010 with much more proceeds to share.
So with that considered too I really have to wonder how much money was lost by Manny for not agreeing to do drug testing that he has since done in a few of his fights.

Manny can still get away with fight crap Top Rank fighters in China for years. Floyd has pressure to make the big numbers so with canelo v cotto being made next year Floyd has limited option other than Khan which may not be big over there anyway.

Between the fight falling apart over drug testing and Manny getting sparked Floyd was making clear that he'd have to have the lion's share due to his PPV numbers being much higher than Manny's.
If he'd agreed to the testing four years ago he might have won! History would look a lot different than it does now. It might have even stopped Haymon trying to dominate pro boxing amongst other things. We'll never know though. :)

Well Manny is still in financial trouble as far as I know and needs big money, Floyd made 32 million guaranteed (who knows how much more after the proceeds were tallied up) to fight Maidana in his last fight, he has two fights left... he can make huge money fighting guys like Cotto, Khan, or even a young up and comer. He won't make nearly as much as he would vs Pac, but if you look at who needs the fight more, it's Pac.

Yeah we'll never know, they can fight ten times in the next two years and it'll never make up for the fight that got away.

Floyd passed the career $400 million mark with his fight with Maidana. Most of which was earned while he was his own boss.

It's fucking sad, Manny is a legend in the sport, he's the one taking the risks, putting on great fights and taking the damage, he should be doing what Mayweather is doing and running his own show, instead of being under the thumb of one of these asshole promoters.
I really hope we start to see guys breaking away from these blood suckers and start keeping the % of their purses that they deserve. Enough with the Arum's and the King's, hopefully that era of boxing dies with those two fuckers.

Prince said he was a slave because his record label wouldn't let him release as much music as he wanted. Prince is a fucking music writing/producing and performing machine so he was basically a slave to Warner because he could only release 12 songs per year when he was writing a hundred.

That worthless POC Ariza has never spoken the truth. He proved what a scumbag he is when he tried to kick Freddie Roach in the chest. Kicking a man that suffers from Parkinsons Syndrome what a jerk.
I suppose it was Arum's fault Floyd said " My health comes first "
Floyd sr " I will never let my son fight Paquaio"
Ariza fits in well with the Mayweathers they are all strangers to the truth
