I said it before and it's 100% true, Floyd was ahead of his time with the Olympic-style drug testing. People bitched and complained and said "who is Floyd to demand special drug testing"? Well, obviously his idea was good because the Athletic Commissions have jumped on board and athletes have signed up for voluntary drug testing organizations like VADA (including Pac, who was supposedly afraid of needles and the effects of a blood test 2 weeks before a fight). There's a big UFC championship fight coming up on Jan 3rd, and yesterday both the challenger and the champion had NSAC employees show up at their door unannounced and take blood and urine samples a few days ago.
This is what needed to happen to promote a clean sport and to protect the fighters who risk their lives for our entertainment. So many ignorant fans wanted to swallow the blue pill and believe that the old "tried and true" scheduled piss test was keeping steroid cheats out of boxing, even though it had been proven to be useless in most cases.
I beg to differ on JMM, he bulked himself up specifically to do just that. I think the danger for Pac here is more of timing shot where he runs into it and if you listen to both Bradley and JMM hitting Pac with that punch aint easy. They both say you have to preprepared to take a punch to make it happen. As the fight goes on and Floyd nails Pac a few times with that counter, Pac obviously should get more cautious. But hearing him, I'm not sure he has the mental state to do that against Floyd. The questions are can Floyd slow down the pace enough or is Pac fast enough to keep that higher work rate going and his he willing to back off what he says the people want. He picked it up in the last fight with JMM, so I'm guessing if Floyd is going to stick with the same fight plan, Pac gets more agressive.Quote:

It's all easier said than done. Floyd shuts guys down, it's what he does. He's an expert at hitting without getting hit, and when guys know they are going to get hit first and hard when they make a move, it makes them freeze, it breaks their rhythm, and they shut down. Pac's no different, for all his speed and flashiness, he's a very rhythmic fighter, he does his best work when he's fighting slow plodders who allow him to fight at his own pace. He doesn't get to do that with Floyd.
I see Floyd getting goobled by Pac's volume punches and he will run all night.
Pac ultimately catches up on him and gets some knockdowns between rounds.
My fearless forecast: Pac by UD. Floyd will then tell people that Pac is the real deal and that he was not prepared for Pac's speed and weird angles.
In case Floyd changes his plan and engages Pac all the way, it will be Pac by TKO in the 6th round. :cool:
If you don't believe me, watch Barrera vs Pac 1 ( When Barrera was considered as the undisputed king of the super featherweight), Pac vs Morales 2 and then watch all the fights of Pac. I guarantee you that you will believe me after watching those fights. ;)
