I was impressed. Once Joshua has you hurt and/or against the ropes you are in very big trouble.
Beautiful combination punching and great defense, not that much was coming back at him.
So are you now a believer?
I have been since the Martin fight.
Only Luis Ortiz worries me against Joshua and I like him as well.
Soon no one will be able match Joshua. Tremendous once in a generation talent.
Agreed, Haye wants some money before he faces AJ but Haye is too small to beat Joshua.
Tyson Fury will implode before he even faces AJ.
That leave Ortiz.
Re: Joshua v Johnson - Capital Punishment @ London's O2 Arena 31/01/15
I love Fury but he is doing his best to make me not support him. Tyson trying to be controversial with his silly statements, drug allegation and injury with his mental state not always on the game makes it difficult.
At this moment in time he beats AJ, Ortiz and Wlad but not sure by next year.

No by landing more punches than they land on him as per against the supposed best heavy in the world and all time great;)

Other than the satisfaction of being right that he beat Klitschko, I don't know how you can be proud of that performance or Tyson Fury at this point.
He won in the most mundane and pussiest way possible. He seems to have now lost his desire for boxing as well.
Joshua is the present and future.
Fury won away from home and against all the odds. It does not matter how he won but the fact that he did it and AJ did not. In fact AJ has been picking the droppings that Fury has left.

Fucking hell, you just jumped back on the bandwagon, make your mind up.
Go on then, if Fury fights AJ, who wins? And don't use the old "if it's now, or if it's in a year" nonsense, because we know it ain't going to be now.

It is lucky it is not now, AJ has not done the rounds to think he could beat Fury.

That doesn't answer the question. Sitting on the fence are we? And btw, what has AJ Done to upset you? He's just going about his business.
Re: Joshua v Johnson - Capital Punishment @ London's O2 Arena 31/01/15
I've got no problem with the way Fury won the fight. Sure it was no Hagler Hearns but it's horses for courses and there's more than one way to skin a cat.
It does tickle me how Fury in one fight against a bloke who might just be finished has managed to elevate himself into a position of untouchable master who the likes of Joshua and Wilder had better not even think of beating.
Lets let him have his rematch and move onto Wilder or Joshua before he's hailed as 'nonpareil' shall we?
Re: Joshua v Johnson - Capital Punishment @ London's O2 Arena 31/01/15
you have to remember that fury is a non puncher and he had to dominate every single round
and that's what he did, I thought wlad got a gift in having the scoring so close

I wouldn't say he dominated rounds, he just did more than Wlad did in nearly every round, which was next to fuck all.
I do agree that Fury won a lot more rounds than the judges gave him . It wasn't even close to be honest. I was struggling to give Wlad any rounds , and that's from someone who thought Wlad would wipe the floor with him.
Infact , the more I think of it, the more I reckon that it was one of the most disgraceful defences of a World title by any World Champion.
