Agreed :-\ probably why the crowd was booing him  they paid their good money to go see a fight and it was clear from round one he shouldn't have even been in the ring

They had every right to boo, he cheated everyone.
Well that was a dud.
Alvarado is a bad ass, but also a con man and criminal.
He conned HBO and fans tonight. He saw 4 fingers alright...
That was a really shocking performance. I knew there were rumours about Alvarado being on meth and of course he has been in tough fights, but that was a sick performance. He had no footwork, no output, a practically useless defense. Rios seemed to know from the off that his opponent was a shell and whence had no restraint. Fair play to Rios, but Alvarado made him look better than he was. Alvarado should probably not be licensed to fight again. If that continued he was liable to get seriously hurt. I don't think he is very well.
Alvarado has just taken too much of a beating his last couple of fights. It takes a lot out of you. He was never a great fighter but I don't think he has anything left. He may fight again but will never beat anybody of worth.
Yes, his voice also seems really strange and also that shadow boxing he did pre-fight was very off too. It was almost like he was paying homage to Charlie Zelenoff. After the fight he didn't seem well either, but I guess he had just received a thrashing. That can't be doing his confidence the world of good either. Hopefully he was paid well, takes a proper rest, and has a good think about the future.
Alvarado got smashed up in the first round, Rios could not miss him with the upper cut, pretty
much after the 1st round, he had lost his legs were gone he looked shot.
Very disappointing decider to the trilogy. Mike probably shouldn't have been in there. He was far worse than he was when he lost to Marquez and perhaps the outside distractions were the cause if that
Mike didn't look as though he'd trained. After 1 minute it looked like he'd already been through a 12 round war. Legs had no strength and tactics non existent. Bam bam was relentless and looked powerful at 147. He can still be in good fights. The reason I picked rios is because he fights how he likes fighting but mike looked like a guy trying to box as he'd been told but even when he was trading out of desperation he still didn't let go with commitment, he was half holding back.
Mikes done but rios has shown he is an exciting fighter with a great chin. Congrats Rios!
At the end Alvarado clearly wants to quit. His trainer isn't letting him out either, but they don't want to quit in his hometown with a big HBO camera stuck in their face relaying the corner.
Trainer tells the doc Alvarado can't see. Alvarado tells the doc he can't see. Doc gets Nady. Nady booms out "YOU WANNA QUIT?" --- Doc then starts doing the finger test.
"No, no we don't wanna quit but he can't see, He. Can. Not. See. we do not want to quit, see nothing nada, we are not quitting, he's blind. Will you pair of cunts just call the fucking fight off."*
*That is a fabricated quote. Just in case like
Alvarado says he will fight on, why was his performance shocking? He really doesn't see, to have his head in the game anymore.
After the Prod fight Alvarado was all choked up to the point of crying. After this fight it was like he didn't give a crap. Very disappointing as he has been one of my favorites, right after Tam.
“Easy and brutal TKO win for Rios. Alvarado’s team is in disarray. He has legal issues. He may be shot. And he has looked terrible in training.”
My prediction. Finally broke my string of bad ones.
Sorry to hear Alavarado didn't show. Thanks for the blow-by-blow commentary. Seems a concensus: Alvarado is done.
