What do you think about some of the things Fury has said? If he's still a sympathetic figure to you in spite of that, why aren't the handful of posters here that seem to bother you so much? I don't know why I'm asking, curious as to what distinction you'd possibly make I guess, if you are serious.

What things has Fury said that you're looking for comment on?
I'm sure you heard them at the time, he made a series of comments on gay people and pedophiles, jews, women, the apocalypse, a whole bunch of junk. I'm just wondering how a public figure saying that on camera is less abhorrent than people posting hateful stuff here?

Live by the sword die by the sword , if fury wasn't such a prick do you think people would judge him?

Can't say that I did.

Iv got an idea! As a boxing forum full of supposed boxing fans and "experts" should we get behind the sports biggest achiever in the last year beating an all time great while being a big underdog in the champions home country on the champions own promotion or would it be a classier, better idea to make snide shitty little comments online we would never have the bollocks to say to his face?
What is the agenda here?
Hes a professional athlete who failed a drug test yet you still blindly defend him. You're like a well trained dog Ross.
Re: Tyson Fury tested positive for cocaine
What really does get me is Peter Fury such a bear faced liar on many vids he has lied again and again about Tysons condition, he knew about this problem a long time ago and does nothing to stop it, he lied over Hughies skin condition caused by steroid abuse the treatment for acne is steroid cream (Mrs is a pharmacist ) and do you know what his own people are selling him the coke, so called family and friends know this and what do they do fuck all, brush it under the caravan and try to keep the gravy train running any real friend would pack him off to the priory or somewhere similar, Fat Mick should of seen this coming terrible promoter/ manager one of the worst ever in my eyes almost killed De gales career, its only that Tyson is so thick headed that I have a little bit of empathy for him, seen so many mates go down the coke, crack then smack route its unreal mates married got kids still fall for it some can dabble all there lives hold quality jobs no problem most can't Ive dabbled never got to me just looked on it as a bit fun but then I would say I have a little voice inside me that says enough is enough leave it until the next party night, lots of people can't do that and Tysons one of them he needs proper help taking coke during training for a fight shows no respect to your opponent, his team and every one else involved to get the show on, a proper champ would hand the belts back, get sorted, take 2 or 3 warm ups then go again at the champions to get his belts back. Lets see if Tysons team are honourable men.

No, they might not all be boxers, but the mental pressures that get to people because of whatever situation they are in are often overlapping ones. That's why you can have someone at the AA meeting who lays bricks for a living and is stressed about work conditions and another is a stage actor with stage fright. They are dealing with similar underlying issues. To call everyone bullshitters isn't so cool.
Agreed, we have little facts to explain how or why things are with Tyson Fury.
Ross has no place trying to explain either as he knows nothing too.
Re: Tyson Fury tested positive for cocaine
Im breaking my own rule here and trying to make sense of something concerning Tyson Fury. The vagueness of it all is puzzling. Is he getting the best of help, or is he fucking about on Twitter 'fooling' everyone with his retired not retired shtick. What is he allegedly getting the best of care for? On the face of it, he's getting help because hes a bit fed up and had a belly full of people ripping the piss out of him on social media, really? As someone has said previous on one of the many threads, you live by the sword...
He's pissed off with the way he's been treated? He's played the victim card since day one, no one likes us and we dont care!! Evidently you do. Theres nothing any governing body can do about it, yeah he lost the IBF title without a fight, but that was his own doing, he agreed to that happening, plus its given him and his mob plenty of 'Im the real champ' ammo to fire in Joshua's direction which they love.
The alternative of course is that he's a massive bell end and the architect of his own impending hiatus from boxing through nothing but his own stupidity and has now 'kinda' played the mental health card to mask it, which would make him a massive piece of shit, wouldnt it?
Whatever his apparent issue might be, he has the means and opportunity to receive the greatest of care and support immediately. Im no expert, but knocking around on Twitter playing the wind up merchant, apparently a source for many of his woes, doesnt seem like the best of ideas to me.
Re: Tyson Fury tested positive for cocaine
Just seen in the Daily Mirror (therefore you can take this as 100% bullshit) Tyson Fury is set to enter the celebrity jungle
Apparently a stint in there would work wonders for his image and help him get his head straight
