Stop sticking up for him. :)

I understand why he should be punished from a professional perspective, just meant he's one of those guys where you expect it. I'm pretty sure it's not an act, he's just one of those people that genuinely couldn't give a fuck, he's too thick to not expose himself in public.
I can kind of understand why that poster changed his mind on this fight cus it's a pick em & I find it hard to split the two. I've not seen the odds but was surprise to see Thurman had such a lead in the poll. I'm picking Thurman on points but Danny is a quality fighter so I have no great deal of confidence in my pick
garcia looked the goods vs mathyse the way he let his hands go in combinations but that's the last time I was really impressed by him. I don't think he deserved the win vs Peterson and his career has been abit of a letdown since the promise he showed against Khan. An unbeaten record doesn't mean much when your not active or mixing with the best. Thurman is good on his feet and the better athlete. The 147 weight class suits him as we've not seen how Danny will cope with the top dogs at welter. His good work has been at 140
if Keith boxes a similar fight as he did vs porter I don't see Danny catching him. The danger will be if he tries to take Danny out. Garcia has great timing and is dangerous in exchanges. Keith's probably the more vulnerable of the two as I've seen him hurt to head and body by collazo and karras. I expect "one time" will box a disciplined fight and win a close 12 round decision
How many times has "one time" actually knocked out an opponent one time with one punch?
Garcia will rise to the occasion against the tougher opponent..he has a track record of this.
I agree with Paul Kevin, Danny Garcia to win when Thurman KO's him
Here are predictions from some top fighters and trainers:
Shawn Porter (former welterweight titlist)
Thurman MD 12 Garcia
I've watched both Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman all the way through the amateurs and now in the pros. They're both really good fighters. Both strong. Both intelligent. Both make good adjustments over the course of a fight. I'm choosing Thurman to stay undefeated because I think not only is he a little stronger, and a little smarter, but I also think his boxing ability is superior to Garcia's. I think he's going to give Danny problems when he moves. I think Thurman is going to have Danny off-balance. I think Thurman is going to make it very hard for Garcia to set up his offense. And I think based off of that one element Thurman will win a majority decision
Mikey Garcia (lightweight titlist)
Garcia W12 Thurman
I think Danny Garcia takes it. He finds a way to win. He has experience and has been able to make adjustments to get the win. Garcia by decision over Keith Thurman.
Jarrett Hurd (junior middleweight titlist)
Garcia W12 Thurman
I haven't seen Danny Garcia hurt before, but I've seen Keith Thurman hurt to the body against Luis Collazo. Garcia took punches from hard-hitting Lucas Matthysse. No matter how much Garcia's been the underdog, he always finds a way to pull the upset.
Andre Berto (former welterweight titlist)
Thurman W12 Garcia
It's going to be a great fight. I'm learning toward Keith Thurman over Danny Garcia.
Robert Guerrero (former two-division titlist)
Thurman W12 Garcia
I'm picking Keith Thurman to win by decision over Danny Garcia. Both fight with a lot of heart, and it's going to be a Fight of the Year type of fight. I just think Thurman has more weapons in his arsenal. Both are undefeated, so may the best man win.
Ronnie Shields (trainer of Jermall Charlo)
Thurman D12 Garcia
Keith Thurman-Danny Garcia is a 50-50 fight. Both guys are well-schooled, and I predict that it will end in a split-draw.
Stephen Edwards (trainer of Julian Williams)
Garcia W12 Thurman
Keith Thurman has the faster feet and more skittish style. Although he is looked at as the puncher, Danny Garcia has to not chase Thurman. Garcia has to make Thurman come to him so he can counterpunch. Garcia's dilemma is does he chase Thurman or does he wait. He always makes the right decision. I say that he waits and wins a controversial decision.
Derrick James (trainer of Errol Spence Jr.)
Garcia SD12 Thurman
It should be an interesting fight. Danny Garcia has the speed, and he should be able to use that to his advantage. On the other hand, Keith Thurman should have more power and if he lands, Garcia may be in trouble. I am focused on our fight with Kell Brook, but I hope that we are able to fight the winner, which I think will be Garcia by close split-decision victory.
Ernesto Rodriguez (trainer of Jarrett Hurd)
Thurman W12 Garcia
I pick Keith Thurman due to adjustments to box when he's in trouble and his ability to hurt you with a punch. Tough bout to pick but I'm picking Thurman to beat Danny Garcia by decision.
Abel Sanchez (trainer of Gennady Golovkin)
Garcia W12 Thurman
In my opinion, Danny Garcia wins a tough, hard-fought decision. I never really thought that Keith Thurman would be able to pull it out in a hard, 12-round fight.
Ruben Guerrero (father and trainer of Robert Guerrero)
Thurman W12 Garcia
I think Keith Thurman is going to win the fight, but he needs a knockout. If it goes to the distance, I think they'll give it to Danny Garcia.
Kevin Cunningham (trainer of Devon Alexander)
Thurman W12 Garcia
I've got Danny Garcia winning by a decision over Keith Thurman.
Final tally: Thurman 6, Garcia 5, Draw 1
Keith Thurman vs. Danny Garcia expert picks - Dan Rafael Blog- ESPN
For a fight so split - fans, fighters, trainers and pundits (who are basically fans with a boxing job. Only a small percent are worth taking notice of when it comes to actually judging fights/fighters) Garcia is a decent bet at 2/1
Can't get Thurman back peddling for his life against Collazo out my mind. Plus think Garcia is a proper granite chin merchant. When Thurman gets trapped or chooses to have a brief shootout, which will happen at certain points, it'll be Garcia's left hook that is most deadly.
Garcia KO - 11/2
Thurman PTS - 6/4
Draw - 20/1
This is another really exciting one for tonight, looking forward to it, and hope I can actually hold my drink well enough to actually make it to the first bell this time! Really like Danny Garcia, though I know he's in for a tough night.
I'm super excited for this fight. This is such a pickem type of fight. I literally wouldn't be surprised with any outcome (other than maybe with Thurman KOing Garcia).
I'm still picking Garcia in a close fight, but I think this fight is won by the fighter who adjusts better.
I was planning on staying up to watch this fight but after watching that farce on sky sports I don't know if I can stomach any more boxing for tonight
I am gunna stay up and watch it (I've still got half a pizza to finish off) but I'm just a bit pissed off with what I have just watched...not even the actual fight so much but more the fucking interviews and conning of the public that went on afterwards...anyway fuck that, this aint the thread for that shit
