What sort of scoring is that?

115-113, 115-114 for Murray I could see. But that judge needs to be fired!
Re: Martin Murray-Gabe Rosado/Fielding-Ryder - Sky Sports 22 April.
Murray is a clown in the post fight interview.

Normally I'd make you right, but I have to say the judge who had it 119-109 was Polish.
Re: Martin Murray-Gabe Rosado/Fielding-Ryder - Sky Sports 22 April.
Didn't watch the second half of the fight, but thought Rosado was competitive enough to snag a few rounds in the first half. Evidently the burrowing in the hills made our reporter cranky, or discussing the coalition was just as hard.

Re: Martin Murray-Gabe Rosado/Fielding-Ryder - Sky Sports 22 April.
I skipped through the fight, I've said many a time before that Murray (and Macklin for that matter) could be in the most exhilarating and exciting fight imaginable and I would just be 'Meh'
I thought that Murray came across as a proper cunt though afterwards, he stood there and had his say but wouldn't let Rasado have his, typical Brit, I always think we come off worse in the interviews against the rest of the world.

Look at Murray. What a cunt!
Typical Brit bullshit scoring. Truly disgraceful!
Re: Martin Murray-Gabe Rosado/Fielding-Ryder - Sky Sports 22 April.
Germany are worse with their scoring.
Re: Martin Murray-Gabe Rosado/Fielding-Ryder - Sky Sports 22 April.
scoring a fight correctly is very difficult
I watched murray Rosado and I think murray won most of the rounds
id sooner score it 119-110 than 115-113
its so easy to see a fighter doing better than in a previous round and give it to him even tho his better was still not good enough
which brings me to my idea of how to score a fight
--
there are 18 judges, 3 judges score each of the rounds so each judge scores 2 rounds
who ever you think wins the round they get 1 point and another point per KD
the winner would be the one with the highest score over all
each judge would come into each round they score fresh and relatively uninfluenced
more judges also reduces the risk of personal bias

I kind of like this actually but it's take ages to tally up the scores after the fight and also it'd only really work if the judges could only see the rounds they were scoring which could lead to delays in between rounds trying to get the new judges in place.
Only problem is that the 3 judges are pretty ingrained in boxing and I can't see them making any drastic changes anytime soon.

Murray was sh-T and the fact that he's struggling with Rosado in indicative of his current level.
Re: Martin Murray-Gabe Rosado/Fielding-Ryder - Sky Sports 22 April.
you are right @Batman , it will never happen, and I don't really think id want it too, the current way of scoring is alright
and you are also right @Alpha , I very much doubt Murray will ever win a world title, but he still won the fight fairly clearly
