Disagree... Winky was supposed to prepare Lacy for Calzaghe being that he is a southpaw, and granted.. There styles are polar opposites, but still.. Im sure Lacy and Winky had competitive sparring sessions, or else there wouldn't be much point in the collaberation correct?? The only way Im wrong here is if Lacy was pretty much paying Winky for private lessons and secretly getting his ass handed to him ;D Plus Calzaghe is WAY bigger than anyone Winky has ever fought, and he has very fast hands and good movement. Im sure Winky could be succesful in blocking alot of punches but what does it matter that Joes defence isnt as good, your telling me WRight is going to hurt him? Dont make me laugh, Winky can't crush a grape at light middleweight, good as he is. I just see him doing very well but ultimately slowing down and turning into a target for Calzaghe, who would have to simply pick his spots move in and out and fight smart, his size, power and speed would be more than anything Winky has ever been in against. Maybe if Winky hands Taylor a loss then I'll change my mind, since I expect Taylor to win due to his size and reach as well.

What fights at 168 made Toney a legend? the only decent name he beat was Iran Barkley who's hardly the stuff legends are made of.

I've never seen Toney fight so can't really comment on how he'd fare against Calzaghe, all I know is that Toney's comments make it really hard to like him, so I'd definitely want Joe to beat him.

As I said before, this isn't a serious challenge to Toney as he knows Toney can't make it below 210 anymore let alone 175 or 168.

Toney beat better fighters at 168 than Calzaghe has, seriously. McCallum, Charles Williams, Barkley, Tim Littles, he beat some good fighters. I think Toney would have beaten him, but it could have been a good fight because of Calzaghes movement and speed, but he's not Roy Jones and it's assuming Toney was in his best shape at 168. And it only took Toney a few years to make a name for himself... Calzaghe has been at super middle for like 10 years.. I mean really, he beat Lacy, and thats cool and all.. But he really needs to follow it up with something big and calling out Toney for entertainment value isn't going to do it.. Lets see him fight Tarver or Woods or somebody..

winky is too small to truly hurt calzaghe, and calzaghes relentless workrate would ratchet up points....winky wouldnt be all that effective at super middleweight IMO...

toney could never lose the weight, and if he did, at this stage calzaghe beats him....

toney can never come down so much in weight at his age.....his body would suffer....
