an excellent fight, but no way was that the time to stop it....im not impressed by that decision...

We're only getting the Cooto card here in the UK. I'm not sure how this is going to work for us. Both the Cotto fight and Hopkins fight will be shown, but the main events could overlap. Are they going to record the Hopkins fight and show it after the Cotto fight? Would have liked to have seen a bit of the undercard of Hopkins-Tarver.

Anyone else see a slight similarity between Hernandez and Delahoya? Not necessarily in looks, but in style and the way he sets himself, parries. He looks the part thus far.

Anyway there SHOULD be a rematch of this, it was classic in the making.

Vasquez seemed to come into his own a little more in that round! Agreed that Hernandez has seom similarities with ODLH, I may be relatively easily pleased, but I do quite like this one so far, though I think the bigger punches for Vasquez may take their toll eventually.

Did anyone else see Tarver....shouldn't he be in the changing rooms getting his fists strapped etc, not staring off into space like anself-pitying poet in one of the leather chairs in starbucks.

Stopped on cuts. Not sure about that stoppage. A cut on the bridge of the nose? They could have let that go for a few more rounds.

You cannot allow yourself to eat so many punches and not throw back but not expect to be stopped. The commentator was right, the only time he showed any passion was when the fight was stopped.

Hopkins backs him into a corner & just goes at it. Very nice. Hopkins just hammers him home. Big right hand by Hopkins & Tarver is just trying to make it out of the fight. Lunging right from Hopkins. Hopkins has 25 seconds left to make history official people...he has done it. Tarver throws & Hopkins done him in. Right hand by Hopkins.
