Almost looking forward to tonights heavyweight bout. I think Toney just has to much skill and experience for Peter to overcome. I dont care how the bookies have it I think its an upset of Peter wins. means makes a good point about Peters punches being to hard to let roll off, but he isnt going to be able to throw enough of them to make a winning difference. Toney UD, would rather see him counting bulbs but it is to hard for me to imagine.

Teddy Atlas picked Peter to win. He is ussually pretty good with his picks.

This will be the first PPV ive bought in a loooooong time. Usually goto this 'hooters' type place to see the PPVs but I have a feeling there wont be any seats in the house. :'( But this fight is 'only' 25$ so I wont go hungry.)

Anyway I think this fight is much closer than alot of people are saying. It could be a UD for JFAT or a KO for Peter. (draw and anything else? Dont see it). So Id say this is a 50/50 fight. Im pulling for Peter to beat on JFAT for 11 rds and 179 seconds and then take his head off.

hey guys has anyone got the link for the video stream of tonights fight. Im in the UK and Sky Sports is not showing it like usually . Im gonna go with Peter for tonights fight as i cant stand James Toney as he's a complete waste of space. I have no idea why he come to fight in such bad shape. I have been looking at the weigh in photos and to me Toney looks like he's got man breasts lol.

HBO doesn't do that...but ShowTime does.

I honestly am not sure though as to whether or not the month deal works when they have an optional PPV buy...I don't think that it does...but I could be wrong.

Ghost won his last fight revenge but he didn't look that impressive, it looked too much like he had no gameplan and just wanted the knockout and started getting countered.. not everyone is going to do what Roy Jones did to Montell Griffin.

OK... Toney is on his way to the arena and a red car swirves in front of him at blinding speed! Happened to drive by Staple Center about 30 min. I went to go pick up the 'carne asada' (bbq meat) the turn out of people looked good. Streets crowded and "vendors" look pretty busy.

I'm standing by my prediction...100% Toney by desicion, at the same time watching the previews and interviews beforethe fight I am getting jittery I think Toney will win, but he is going to get broken up really bad tonite...Just a weird eery feeling I guess, hope James can survive the early barrage and take advantage of a tired Peter down the stretch...

I know what you mean.... I have a feeling somewhere in the 70's when Mexicans 1st started with that whole Chicano movement some 'gringo' must have asked a Chicano what are you doing this weekend and since he didnt wan't to say "Oh! I'm grilling seasoned meat on a grill" he just said "I'm having a BBQ" word got around that the 'gringos' didnt mind blending in the BBQ aspect of it with 'carne asada' so we said fwock it. Lets just call it a BBQ. Not sure if the story is true or not. :)


Anyway WackOff I can do a mean 'carne asada' but it all comes down to the quality of the meat and the way it was seasoned. ;)

Im going with James Toney just because peter tends to swing wildly. Hoping for a big shot landing on JT but hes pritty slick on the inside. His shape is gonna be a real issue. From the weigh in photos peter looks toned but JT got a lot of flab around his pecks. Hope JT gets his ass handed to him tonight but i can see Peter swinging for the fences n having nothing left down the strech. Not seen an awful lot of either fighter in action but from the klitschko fight i feel Peter is a little careless. Having said that he's got one hell of a punch on him when he lands. I can see this fight being a real gay fest with hugging from round 6 onwards. Heres hoping the ref does something about it like the ref did in the Rahman - maskaev fight. JT by UD
