Alright my footy/soccer fans the time has arrived to send 4 more teams home.......
Here are the upcoming games and how I see them.....
4/3
PSV vs. Liverpool - Yes PSV got past Arse, but to me that was a fluke but credit to them for holding Arse scoreless in the 1st match. I see Liverpool wining this game 2-0 with goals by Fowler and uuummmm!! I wanna say Alonso.
AC vs. Bayern - I think Bayerns played well as a team they have certainly come together well. But when you look at them man for man they pretty much match up evenly IMO. I would say ACs defense line is better (experience) then Bayerns but Bayerns forwards have done wonders for them lately and IMO AC just slipped by during qualifiers. Shit! I'm gonna side here with Bayern and say they win this one 1-0 goal by Schweinsteiger.
4/4
Roma vs. Untd. - Tough game here shit!..... I have to root for Untd. here Romas played OK, Tottis played well but it's Mancini who Untd. should be worried about.... Heres hoping C.Ronaldo & The Bulldog show up and do their thing. Put me down for a Untd. 2-1 Mancini to put one down for Roma.
Chelsea vs. Valencia - Valencia takes this game IMO, solely on the fact of how they have performed I mean they knocked off Inter that speaks volumes to me. And if you go back some pages you'll see that I predicted those 2 games vs. Inter to be the toughest to call and yet I managed to call correctly the 1st leg. as I called it a 2-2 draw.... 8) Put me down for a Valencia win 1-0 goal by Villa.
Who you guys picking for the Quarters?
Only 2 hrs. away.....
Trying to escape work to drive to the local bar, to my luck the Regional Mngr. just showed up.... >:mad
What a goal that was from Pirlo to give AC the 1-0 lead....
Steve Gs goal was real nice, top class dives in mid-air and all to give speed & power to the ball for the 1-0 lead.....
The games 3-0 now with a nice goal by Riise and a goal by Crouchy.....
hoooooo!!! shit!!!! :o
Bayern came back on AC..... Final score 2-2.... With both goals score by Buyten.
Liverpool-PSV ended in 3-0 as I said earlier.....
Will post videos as soon as they are available.... 8)

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! :o
Roma 2 vs. Untd. 1
Nice little play on by Mancini as he sneaks past the line and finds Taddei for the 1-0 lead...... C.Ronaldo slips away goes past one and before he faces the next opponent he lets off a roll through pass to Ole and Ole places it over the top to find Rooney in the far post as Ronney chests the ball down and beat the goal keeper for very dramatic 1-1 tie as Roma had been dominating for the most part at the begining of the second half..... I believe Mancini lets off a long hard shot and Van der spits the ball out as Vudici finds it by slidding for it and catching Van der off set for the 2-1.......
For my English mates who suggest that EPL is lights years ahead of everyone, well if you saw Untd. - AS that game would lead you to believe otherwise.... My team Untd. looked lathergic and just completely out runned.
AS played at such a fast pace that Untd. wasn't able to find a rhythim.... Untds. defense looked really bad at times IMO it had to do with them being tired. Untd. was very fotunate to walk off the field with a 2-1 loss it could have been worst....
Credit to Rio & Carrick for holding it together.... Heinze fell asleep in the 1st goal and fell off his mark (Taddei) if you notice he was on Taddei then Taddei makes his move and Heinze looses him....
Chelsea 1 vs. Valencia 1
I didn't see this game but I will as soon as I get home...... so I can't comment much on it... :P
Silva scores! The Spanish Under-21 international stuns the Stamford Bridge crowd with a contender for the goal of this season's competition. Collecting the ball from a throw-in, the 21-year-old surges into the Chelsea half before unleashing a sensational long-range, left-footed strike that arrows into the far corner. Petr Čech stood absolutely no chance.
Drogba scores! The Ivorian striker draws the home side level with his sixth goal in this season's UEFA Champions League. A lofted pass from Ashley Cole is uncharacteristically mis-judged by Roberto Ayala and Drogba pounces to head the bouncing ball over Santiago Cañizares.
Roma 2 - 1 Untd.

Oh! yesssssss!!! :D
United has scored early in the game.... 8) It's 2-2 aggr.
Carrick scores! Michael Carrick scores with a right-foot curler from the edge of the penalty area, catching goalkeeper Doni flat-footed after receiving a throughball from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Oh1!1
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhha aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!
SHIT!!! UNITED IS UP 3-0......
NO FWOCKEN WAY!!!! 8) :o
The Spanish side takes the 1-0..... :)
Morientes scores!
Having hit the post with a fierce left-foot volley moments ago, Fernando Morientes makes no mistake this time as Valencia take the lead. Joaquín Sánchez is the provider, crossing from the right to Morientes who dives in to turn the ball beyond Petr Čech.
WHoA! whoa! whoa!!!!
What a clinic is being put on by Man. Untd.
Romas just caught in a twilight zone episode right about now.....
4-0..... HALF TIME...
Cristiano Ronaldo scores! Cristiano Ronaldo ends his UEFA Champions League goal drought with a run and low shot that beats Doni at his near post.
Rooney scores! Wayne Rooney makes it 3-0 to United, racing in to touch in another Giggs cross from the right from close range after United had wasted little time in dispossessing Roma from the kick off. The stunned visitors from Italy now need to score twice, without conceding, to advance.
Smith scores! Alan Smith scores his first UEFA Champions League goal of the season to double United's lead. The blond forward provided the perfect finish to a flowing team move by burying a right-footed volley past Doni following a clever flicked pass from Ryan Giggs.
UK teams are running it 8)
Looking 100% like a Chelsea/Liverpool semi final ;)
Man Utd absolutely f8cked Roma and Carrick,Ronaldo and Smith were superb 8)
Oh!! no!!
Chelsea has done it.... Essien scores in the 90+ minutes....
To put The Blues through to the next round....
Untd. put on a clinic and played like the Untd. of the 90's..... 8)
Untd. 8-3 Roma aggr.
Chelsea 3-2 Valencia aggr.
What an absolute clinic by Manchester United, as a life long fan i havent seen a better performance in Europe since we beat Juve in te San Siro 3-2 from 2 goals down in 1999 semi-final. Juve had reached the last 5 finals aswell, United were that good tonight.
Carrick = worth £18 million
7-1......I sure hope United is all scored out
Don't worry Lyle, Liverpool will play Chelsea next round. ;)Quote:

I aint keen on facing Chelsea at all :(
Mind you this time two years ago i was saying the same thing ^-^
The games just got underway about 20 min. ago...
Let's see who goes through from Bayern - Milan.... :)
Milan is up 2-0 with 34 min. into the match.... :o
Looks like Bayern is falling apart like Roma did yesterday....
Seedorf scores! Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf puts Milan into the lead midway through the first half, finishing off a fine move by drilling low beyond Oliver Kahn right-footed from the edge of the penalty area. His seventh UEFA Champions League goal, on his 91st appearance, it puts the visitors 3-2 ahead on aggregate.
Inzaghi scores! Milan double their lead within four minutes after Bayern get caught at the back by a cute Seedorf flick into Filippo Inzaghi's path, allowing the striker to race through unchallenged and coolly place the ball beyond Kahn. His second goal in the competition this season, it is his 36th overall.
Final time.
Liverpool 4-0 PSV aggr.
Milan 4-2 Bayern aggr.
Semifinal games...
Liverpool vs. Chelsea
Untd. vs. Milan
8)
Untd. 7-1 Roma
De Rossis goal was simply majestic. The fucker didn't even turn I mean his back was to the goal and he hit the damn! ball as it came. That was beautiful to see.
To me the man of the match HAS to be Fletcher I mean this fucker played like it was the last game he was ever gonna play he was defending he was attacking he was stealing the ball, he was putting the pressure all throughout the field never really let the Roma player settle in as he was allover the place... Also credit to the Riggs I mean at this stage in his career and to be playing like must feel great.

Valencia 1-2 Chelsea
Essien does a number on Valencia and puts them through with a well placed strike.

Fletcher ???
he played ok, carrick played to his price tag but smith was the difference in utd, he wouldnt let the roma defenders settle, theres never a lost ball with smith, works his ass off every game
ronaldo was superb as usual
gonna be an all english final this year
Yes, mate really. Did you see the entire game?Quote:

My 2nd close player of the match would be Giggs for putting on the set pieces.
Smith played well I just don't think he did enough to be man of the match.Quote:

smith started his 4 th game of the season after tht horrid leg breaking injury, in the 1st leg, roma defenders would get the ball and man utd would back off giving roma time to make something of it, smith doesnt let that happen, he chases everything, never lets anyone settle, thats wat man utd have missed, you can be 2-0 down with 10 seconds to go and smith would still chase a ball that hes never gonna make, plays with pride
Ronaldo had a hand in everything, he pulls players towards him creating space for others to exploit. best player in the world this year
cant see milan putting 1 over on utd
it will be good though, will go 4-2 utd on agg
chelsea i see progressing to the final 2
this has been there worst season under mourinho so far in terms of injurys etc but they grind out the wins and i think there to strong for the reds this year
SHIT!
I completely forgot about this this.... >:mad
Well here it is Untd. has defeated Milan.... 8) 3-2
5 Cristiano Ronaldo (Man. United) scores! A corner comes over and Manchester United take a dramatic early lead. Cristiano Ronaldo's header is pushed up into the air by Dida who then palms the ball into his own net at the second attempt under pressure from Gabriel Heinze.
22 Kaká (Milan) scores! Milan draw level as a Clarence Seedorf through-ball is picked up by Kaká on the edge of the penalty area, controlling the ball with his right foot before firing it into the far corner of the net with his left. The Brazilian's eighth goal in the competition this season gives the visitors a crucial away goal.
22 Fletcher (Man. United) gives away a free-kick following a challenge on Ambrosini (Milan).
37 Kaká (Milan) scores! A mix-up in the United defence between Gabriel Heinze and Evra lets Kaká get through on goal to slot the ball underneath Edwin van der Sar for his second goal of the night, putting Milan ahead eight minutes before the break.
59 Rooney (Man. United) scores! The home side draw level as Paul Scholes flicks the ball right-footed into Wayne Rooney's path and the England striker's prod towards goal is half-stopped by Dida but the Brazilian goalkeeper can only watch helplessly as the ball bounces over the line.
0+1Rooney (Man. United) scores! A minute into added time and Giggs slips the ball into the path of Rooney, outside the penalty area on the right, and he drills it low and hard to beat Dida at his near post and give the hosts a dramatic 3-2 edge. Rooney has doubled his tally in the UEFA Champions League this season tonight and they are goals that should give the English club a lead to take to Italy.
Personally i cant stand Man United they are full of arrogant self obsessed wankjars !!
Last night though with a depleted squad they turned it on at exactly the right time but i honestly think if Old Glaswegian Gattuso hadnt gone off it would have been a different story !
Kaka was outstanding last night he is a thoroughbread athlete with great skill and an eye for Goal his 1st was a Magnifique!!
But credit to united they rode their Luck and after Rooneys equaliser they went up a gear and played at a tempo only an on song united can !!
Its finally poised but i fancy united its the kinda backs to the wall sceneario that always seems to favour United !!!
I just cant wait for the Media to dig up all the important trivia on how An English Clubhasnt beaten Milan in Milan when the 4th Moon of Jupiter was in conjunction with Uranus since 1896 all that other shit that doesnt matter !!
United can have so many players so off song like they did last night Evra , Hienze ,Brown and even Scholes and Carrick wernt as influential as they have been for long periods last night and still win!
Milan may have missed the boat , United will score in the San Siro and they have the advantage !
CutmeMick where does your love of Football come from ?

I agree, Gatusso plays a HUGE role in that field hes that extra push and pressure thats needed to make your opponents second guess a pass and or a shot.Quote:

We lost the finals in penalties :( it would have been our 3rd Championship but it wasn't to be. So I guess my passion for it comes from my childhood playing it youth teams since the age of and following leagues. Also on my moms side 2 of her uncles played professionally in for one of Mexicos biggest teams Chivas de Guadalajara so it's always been a part of the fam. Also living in Mexico you play on the streets it's Mexicos most popular sport. I TRY very hard to follow different leagues I follow more closely the FMF, EPL & LFP. I also look into the Italian league and the German league but not soo much as the others.Quote:

Heres CC#63 on me and thanks for your input for a second here I thought, "Well I guess I'm the only footy fan here" but hey! I don't mind talking to myself about footy.
Shit! I might even contradict myself ;D
BTW,
Did you ever see that old cartoon 'The Hurricanes'? :D
Chelsea 1 - 0 Liverpool
Oh! Lyle.... :)
I just think Chelseas gonna do it here and in the 2nd leg. I think they have enough to edge out a 3-2 aggr. win.....
J. Cole scores! Didier Drogba uses his power to get beyond Daniel Agger on the right and roll the ball into the path of Joe Cole, who arrived to slot low beyond Pepe Reina at the near-post and give Chelsea a deserved lead. The goal is the England man's first in Europe this season and what a crucial one.
United 3-2 Milan

Not only was I pissed off that Liverpool lost...I have to work on my day off (tomorrow)....the reason Liverpool lost was because they didn't use Crouch early enough and Kuyt screwed up when he was given a great chance.....and Cech got LUCKY AS FUCK saving Stevie G's shot!!!!Quote:

#1 Bellamey will sit next game, #2 Stevie G will play in a different position, #3 All Liverpool has to do is win by 1
