I aint a Hatton fan...but they just totally disrespected him.

They said that he won't or shouldn't get much respect for that fight because Castillo was shot...that's bullshit. While I do think that Castillo is/was on the slide...he is not a finished fighter. Personally...I thought that Castillo was coming on & that this was a really really good fight. That body shot was brutal.

Castillo pretty much stayed down for the full count and showed that he did not want any more of the ferocity that Ricky Hatton had showed in the build up to the fight. No doubt this one will boost the Hatton performance beyond all that Hatton had to say.

That was a great performance from Hatton...I was impressed...again...not a fan of all that holding.

Against Floyd...Hatton would have nowhere near the abilities or advantages against Castillo. Floyd is a boxer & the majority of the shots that Hatton landed...Floyd would ghost 'em.

I just don't agree that Castillo is shot. Just because a few fans & some commentators that have never tasted a fist in the mouth say...well that don't make it so. Castillo was all up in that fight. He's on the slide...but there is a huge difference.

The best fight for Hatton now would be Gatti or Cotto.

I can appreicate your Hatton fandom, but let's not ignore reality.

Castillo looked like he was moving in slow motion. Emmanuel Steward commented 10 seconds into the fight on how slow Castillo looked and that he was shot.

All respect to Hatton, he got a great victory. But let's be realistic about Jose Luis Castillo here.
