and hes saying he wasnt down and shouldnt have been called down, hes wrong there, he was down, he had to grab the rope and STILL would have fallen without another rope behind him

marquez is also pissed about the low blow that he has a point deduction from, hes saying its on the belt

marquez should have won that fight, and kazmarick was the only judge that gave it to him, he is redeeming himself lately

It's unfortunate that Marquez was deducted a point because at this level you hate to see the ref influence the final outcome. Especially since posters here say it was such a borderline call. But if it weren't for that deduction we'd have a draw, which would be difficult to stomach at the end of such a great trilogy.
I hope they are able to continue their careers after this one (thinking about Corrales/Castillo) sorry to be such a buzzkill at a time like this) because there are such good match ups out there at 122 for each of them. Which I would rather see than a fourth fight.
The low blow point off Marquez was wrong it was a clean shot right on the belt line. That is what seems to have made the difference. It's a draw otherwise which would have been a fairer decision IMO.
Ok fellas just edited my scorecard's and i had it 113-113.
That low blow point deduction was bullshit.

And to think that when Marquez/Vasquez 1 was announced I didn't think Vasquez was on Marquez's level. Marquez was in the midst of a huge win streak and Vasquez was such an underdog. I never would've guessed we'd be here today.

I picked a Vazquez KO before the fight, although watching it makes you change your mind. I'd have to watch it again because its hard to score when your so involved in it. Fantastic fight. I hope Marquez doesn't beat himself up too much about it. Should have been a draw. Marquez was down at the end, but the low blow call was bullshit.

I haven't been that excited watching a fight since Corrales vs Castillo 1. What an amazing fight that was, it was so exciting that i even made some mistakes when scoring and i couldn't keep up when typing because it was such an awesome fight. It is a shame that the ref had to get involved and take a point away from Marquez for no good reason at all. Vasquez is a damn animal even when he was badly floored in the 4th he got straight back up and wobbled Marquez straight away that was incredible. And Vasquez also reminded me of Julio Cesar Chavez going after Meldrick Taylor in the 12th round of there right. I thought Marquez out boxed Vasquez in the first 6 rounds by using his surperior jab and movement, but Vasquez's constant pressure wore down Marquez and he then started to make it his kind of fight. All i can say is well done to both Marquez and Vasquez for such a great fight and one of the bests fights of the decade.
