Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Great beginning to the show!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
Sookie looked like Carrie with all that blood on her. ;)
I don't know about anyone else, but I kind of find the V trips that Jason and Amy go on, are a bit corny.
Amy is a psycho.
Hmmm, Bill has known all along what Sam is, and now we know a little more. But is there two dogs? There has to be since Sam played fetch with the dog.
And of course we all knew how the show was going to end.
But Waaaaaaaaaah, there are only 3 episodes left for the season. :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Ahhh, I almost read spoilers of the latest episode.. I'm still waiting for my site to upload it...
It's a shame that the good HBO series often only have limited episodes.. I like to really get into a 22 to 24 episode season... Entourage was strange that every season had a different amount of Seasons. One was as short as 8 and the long I think was 22.
True Blood is a bit like Dexter though, it's real high impact and a lot happens each episode, so they can get quite a lot into 12 episodes..
I thought it was cool how the big vampire with the blond hair is so highly respected and looked up to, but had to call on Sookie for help... Bill know's he's got a special one, and I think the more she becomes well known amongst the Vampires, the more Bill is going to have to fight for her. Perhaps even eventually becoming completely outcast by all Vampires...
It's also interesting that even though Bill has been around the town for a while now, most of the locals still aren't warming up to him at all.. Although even without Bill, they didn't think much of Sookie from all the stuff she would hear them saying... But not even one of Sookie's own friends has warmed up to Bill or given him a chance.
Jason really does have a live one on his hands with Amy....
I thought it was kind of cool the first time they "had sex" (with clothes on) and sparks were flying between them... But aside from that it's sad that he's just following her around while she's on her self destructive path... Still, Jason is a loose canon himself, and maybe going down a more dangerous path and hitting rock bottom might be what it takes to make him wake up to himself...
:)
Drama... Love it...

2 things... yes the Vtrips are corny as shit and them fucking in front of the vampire was just... wierd. When Bill staked that dude his death was way to over dramatic and rediculous... Didn't really like that.
Yeah, I agree that Bill knows exactly what Sam is... They have mutual disdain for eachouther but also mutual respect.
You'd think Sam would have been a bit more........ careful. I don't know if it was broken concentration cuz he fell asleep or whatever but it's clear now that it's just not when it's a full moon or whatever cuz he showedto get by the detective that he can shift shape at will...
I'll be honest though, I hope he can shapeshift into something a bit more intimidating then friggin bingo cuz that dog is not ominous at all;D

I wonder how Bill knows and if other vampires know as well. Maybe the dog he played fetch with is another one?

I guess I didn't realize because he was always sitting down, but the vamp over Bill is hyooge. Maybe Bill is short, though.

Doing it in front of the vampire was weird, but I think that speaks to how gone you are on V. I think they're going for the 60s flower-power kinda thing with those backgrounds when they're high. When you consider Amy seems to have walked right out of that era I'd say those scenes are corny on purpose. But for it to be corny like that now only says to me that something terrible is going to happen during one of them. Maybe that vampire will break free and kill Amy while they're high.

Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Ok so we finally found out that Sam was indeed the dog, which has been kind of obvious since episode 1.
The end scene was completely unrealistic though.
I mean he fancies Sookie like mad, he turns into a dog and so has the perfect excuse to spend the night sniffing her crotch and humping her leg and instead he looks away whilst she undresses
That would never happen.
Any man that could turn into a cute little doggy would be turning up as a loveable stray at every pretty girl's house and would spend all his time sniffing their crotches and assholes.

Maybe you wouldn't if she was someone you truly had the hots for. Hell, we don't know that Sam wasn't doing that with every other woman in town.

No. That vamp isn't evil. Lafayette had him in the palm of his hands. You could definitely tell who was in control between the two of them. He only became a vamp because he wanted to be adored and Lafayette is the only one who comes to him. And the guy is just lying to himself. He knows Lafayette is only there for the blood. That just tells you; gay or straight, vamp or human, men think with their ding-dongs.
I do think that once he's duly motivated he will do some evil shit, though. And Amy is stoking that flame (no pun intended) nicely. Just wait 'til he gets out. Amy will be dead and Jason will have a sore asshole.

How would the vampire lying make him evil?
They did kidnap him, tie him up, torture him by putting silver on him and then start taking his blood.
I'm 100% behind the vampire, I hope he gets out and then rips the head off that fucking annoying satanic girl and then butt rapes Jason Stackhouse until he squeals like a pig.
I'd then like to take the head of the now dead satanic girl and fuck Stackhouse up the ass with her head.
Now if I was a vampire I would be seriously evil and fucked up
I'd set out to kill everyone who ever wronged me, and become a serial killer of parking attendents.

Remember he said that he knows when a human does a vampire wrong.

I think a gang of vamps will take care of those 3 rednecks.
After Eric said that, they also panned to Amy, who had that look of concern on her face.
I think Eric will want to give her more personal attention. :foruml10gc5:

LOL! ;D
Well Bilbo you nailed it with one of your two options regarding Sam.
I have this feeling though, that you'll be turned on by the vampires dentist. ;)
I said it before, I'll say it again, that Amy is a pyscho!! :foruml10gc5:
Poor Tara, she looked so funny in that red dress, and her hair that way. She looked like an 80's reject. :p
Was that woman in the road, the woman that turned Bill?
Does anyone think the killer could be Terry? Or has he become too obvious as well?

Well I thought this was a brilliant episode my favourite so far, compared to the last few where they were treading water this one had so much shit happen.
As for the killer it looks like it is indeed a man now, and not Tara which I initially thought, something is still weird with that though.
Remember in the pilot episode there was definitely a black girl who appeared in the trees when Sookie was facing off that couple trying to kill Bill in the woods. I'm sure it was made to look like she controlled the chain with some special power to wrap around the guys neck before disappearing. Is she connected to Tara? Was it the same girl who Tara almost ran over?
Also is the killer a werewolf? I think the killer might be the guy whose getting married to the redhead who works for Sam. No logical reason other than all the others are too obvious.
Lafaette, can't be the killer, no way modern liberals would make a black homosexual a serial killer, he's obviously going to be white
Jason Stackhouse, too obvious I think with the first two girls he fucked ending up dead.
Sam, again too obvious and I think he's the protector of Sookie rather than sent to kill her.
The cops. Possible but a bit of a gay twist that would be imo.
Stackhouse's gf, way too obvious
Tara, not a man, and also black, has a black person ever been depicted as a serial killer in a film, I think not?
-
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Well what about Terry? The white guy who's fuked up from going to Iraq.
The silhouette looked something like him, he's fuked up in the head, and he said that he wished that some dead people weren't dead. Not sure if he meant from Iraq or there.
I think the woman in the road, is the woman that turned Bill, but I'll have to go back and look at both again.
-

Oh yeah definitely now you mention it he could be the one. There's some subtle clues there.
Whoever it is I wonder why they hate Sookie so much though? It kind of seems like all the killings are related to her in some way, the two girls her brother went with, her workmate, her gran, her cat.
Now he's going after Sookie, I wonder what the connection is.
I still think it's a vampire related thing. All of the women had been with vampires as far I can remember
Maybe Terry is a werewolf and goes after any human who has been with a vampire?
Now I think about it Terry is a good suspect, definitely suspicious. He looked shifty with Sookie last night too.
-
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Oh, one more thing I just thought of, who was the woman that Sookie was seeing in her mind, getting strangled?
It wasn't Maudette or Dawn, so who is it?
-
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
HELLLOOOOO!
Terry is the killer and also a wareworlf. Look at his face... He even looks like one without being changed.
...and in relation to you guys saying that theres a connection with Sookie, OF COURSE! The chick Jason was banging was a "fang banger"... Sookie's grandmother was welcoming Bill to the town by appearing and speaking at her group at the church and Sookie is in a relationship with bill... Allthese people were linked to vampires.... Warewolves hate vampires... They are blood enemies...
C'mon, guys.

haha yeah you are probably right. One of the things that made me think Sam was the dog so early was because he looked like him with that mangy beard.
Yeah Terry certainly does look wolflike no doubt.
Right now I'd say he's the favourite.
But why does he strangle people if he's a werewolf and not maul them like a wolf would?

The only night there was a full moon he did.... Sookies Gran... The other ones were not on full moon nights... But he still murdered them due to their being close to vampires and in my thinking him seeing them as threats to be turned. He does not want to see their numbers increase... Just as the vamps don't want their numbers decreased....

Yeah good thinking, so you think he killed them all as a human except for Sookie's gran which he killed as a werewolf. Very possible.............

Yeah... I think in addition to being a werewolf he's also a twisted fuck.
PS. I would use Anna Paquin's body like an amusement park.

Well Hellllooooo!!! :-*
First, we all knew what the connection was between the victims, we're not stupid you know. :tease-new:
And if you suspected Terry, why didn't you say anything about it before? :dontknow:
That might have helped the rest of us. ;D
So does anyone have an idea on who the girl was that was being strangled, when Sookie was seeing inside the killers mind?
-
Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
I was thinking the girl was another invitee to the party. After the killer finished with her, he came after Sookie. It can't be the vet- that's like too easy. It's gotta be the sheriff or the other cop, but the person's outline looked like Sam's. Maybe... just maybe... it's a shapeshifter who can shift to look like other humans. Sam didn't say that was impossible, just that humans were too complex. I would take that to mean too complex for him to do.

...and in relation to you guys saying that theres a connection with Sookie, OF COURSE!
Could it have been one of the girls that Jason was sleeping with that was killed prior that maybe wasn't dead and turned?

It's Terry, bro..> It was obvious that Sam wasn't what he appeared to be as well... He's starting to say some real creapy shit "every family is old... Some just keep better records"

Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
Terry is the Iraq veteran, right? He's too obvious; a red herring, if you will. Right now he's sticking out like a sore thumb because he's so weird. A more likely killer would be his brother but I'm telling you the best candidate is the sheriff. The guy is much too even keel in a town full of weirdos. Almost everyone has an opinion of vampires one way or the other, but he's entirely acceptable. It's the sheriff.
Anybody remember the mayor from the Arbor Drug commercials?

Re: Is anyone watching True Blood on HBO?
i've finally just caught up on all of the episodes.. finally..
Good theory's POB, i could see this being possible..
I'll have to go back and look, but i feel the cat had some significance in all of this.. possibly a shape shifter? The only weird thing about the werewolf thing is that the vampires never mention them, only Sam has.. I bet in the next episode Sookie will say something to Bill about it, and we'll have some answers..

Last night it finally hit me that Jason's "girlfriend" is the girl from Cloverfield who blows up in the hazmat tent.
