Should Guillermo Jones (currently #3) remain rated at Cruiserweight? He has not fought in over 15 months & may not enter the ring for another 2 to 3 months.

* Guillermo Jones removed for inactivity. # 10 position vacant.
Who should fill the vacancy at Cruiserweight?
Matt Godfrey
Troy Ross
Herbie Hide
Grigory Drozd
Denis Lebedev
Danny Green
1 spot...he got robbed.
I say Lebedev. He's put together a decent resume so far, beating Maccarinelli & Ismailov.
Campillo drops 1 spot to #7
The Lebedev/Esparza winner will fill the #10 spot

Yusaf Mack
Should he stay in the pool? I personally feel he should as he lost to a good guy in a very competitive fight while it lasted & the pool is pretty bare here, with at least a couple of guys who won't be around much longer.
Following his win over Jason Estrada, should Adamek enter the pool?
Tomasz Adamek

Should the Nathan Cleverly/Antonio Brancalion winner enter the pool?
Nathan Cleverly
Antonio Brancalion
Both Tarver and Diaconu 22 months without a win, we need to not only keep Mack in the pool, but find more people to put in.
Tomasz Adamek enters the pool
The winner of the Cleverly/Brancalion fight will enter the pool
Yusaf Mack remains in the pool

There are three members of the Cruiserweight pool that have not fought since 2008.
Vadim Tokarev - Boxer
last fight: 11/27/08
Firat Arslan - Boxer
last fight: 9/27/08
Guillermo Jones - Boxer
last fight: 9/27/08
I say keep Jones for now, the purse bid for his fight with Brudov is through so he might actually get back in the ring sometime... drop the other 2!
A few fighters in the pools that I think need to be reviewed:
Julio Diaz
Junior Witter
Alexander Dimitrenko
Fernando Beltran Jr
Ricardo Torres
Julio Diaz in the pool at 135 has lost his last 2. His last fight was in the Jr. Welter division. He has also been inactive for over 6 months since entering the pool.
Julio Diaz - Boxer
Junior Witter has lost 2 out of his last 3 & has been inactive in the last 6 months since quitting against Devon Alexander.
Junior Witter - Boxer
Alexander Dimitrenko has been inactive for over 6 months since his wide loss to Eddie Chambers.
Alexander Dimitrenko - Boxer
Fernando Beltran Jr in the 126 pool was on a 3 fight winning streak but has now been inactive for 8 months.
Fernando Beltran Jr - Boxer
Ricardo Torres in the pool at 140 won his last fight but at the Jr Middleweight limit. Since then he has been inactive for 9 months. He hasn't won a fight at 140 since September '07.
Ricardo Torres - Boxer
Should these fighters stay or go?
I was torn on Julio Diaz as he just signed a new promotional deal last week, but his last two fights were losses, so he's out for me.
I don't think we'll see Witter facing any meaningful opponents in the near future.
The pool at 140 is very full, boot him.
The heavyweight pool is pretty thin, I think he deserves to stay in the pool for one more round.
I doubt Torres can make 140 anymore.
Da Kidd & da Hitter's jive ass' r dun:p
Sascha was exposed:vd:
Lil Jr should stay 4 jst a bit:thumb:
Case could b made dat Torres makes nxt pool up???
But let him earn it;D
Guillermo stays:-\
His nxt fight would b 4 pool entry
So mite as wel stik around:dontknow:

Alright, the only heavyweight pool member up for vote is Denis Boytsov
Denis Boytsov - Boxer
Last fought 1/9/10 with a 2nd round KO over Kevin Montiy. Nothing new is scheduled.
Should he stay in the pool?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...eavyweight.jpg
Ok there is a fight at heavyweight that qualifies to fill the vacancy.
Odlanier Solis - Boxer (pool) vs. Carl Davis Drumond - Boxer (unranked)
Does the victor of this fight merit the #10 ranking?
I'm not sure how to vote on this one.
If Solis wins, give him the #10 spot but if Drummond wins, I say leave it vacant.
That makes sense. I'll vote to leave it vacant.
Solis vs who? :cwm13:
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...iserweight.jpg

Next fight: N/A

Next fight: N/A
Note Matt Godfrey's pool verification will be based on the result of his fight with Steve Cunningham.
Not sure I want to put this up to a vote yet, but I'm kind of torn on it. He could still clearly make cruiserweight, but this will be three fights in a row at heavy, of course following our rules he still has 5 months to get back down to meet his requirements. Anyone have opinions on this?
Should the Solis/Drummond winner take the # 10 spot at heavy?
Yes (3 votes): Galaxy, JazMerkin, Violent Demise
No (4 votes): Spicoli, Killersheep (+1), TigerFan
The winner does not take the #10 spot by a vote of 4-3
Heavyweight Pool Verification
Denis Boytsov
Yes remains in pool (6 votes): TigerFan, JazMerkin, Killersheep (+1), Galaxy, Violent Demise
No remove from the pool (0 votes): N/A
Boytsov remains in the pool, by a vote of 6-0
He's given up his Cruiserweight belts including The Ring title so I think he's not coming back. But, I'd wait another month still to see how he deals with whatever happens with Arreola. A bad loss might lead him to drop back down.
I'm with Jaz, we should wait to see what he does after the Arreola fight. I don't think he'll be back but we should leave him there just incase
All 3 have been winning since their inclusion, so I say they all remain for now
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...eavyweight.jpg
Ok, so the Godfrey/Cunningham fight fell apart (I blame Don King for this 100%) So we need to vote on Matt Godfrey to stay in the Cruiserweight pool. His last fight was a SD win over Michael Simms, nothing new scheduled.
Matt Godfrey - Boxer
This week is the Light Heavyweight division.
Yusaf Mack is the only one up for a vote as he doesn't have a fight coming up. His last fight was a 6th round TKO loss against #3 ranked Glen Johnson, Mack also suffered a shoulder injury in that fight.
Yusaf Mack - Boxer
Do these two deserve to remain in their respective pools?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...eavyweight.jpg
With Antonio Tarver on his way out and some of the oldest ranked boxers of any division, this class has a chance to get desolate very quickly. It's a pretty shallow division overall, but here's a few options for pool entries.
Karo Murat - Boxer He has a win over #7 ranked Gabriel Campillo in what was a very close fight. Undefeated, 26 years old and held some Euro titles at Super Middle, he doesn't currently have anything booked, but he clocked in a victory in January.
Thierry Karl - Boxer Just won a French Light Heavy title a few weeks ago. Yeah this is a reach.
Danny McIntosh - Boxer his only loss is against Pool member Nathan Cleverly, he just scored a 2nd round stoppage over Tony Oakey in February.
I know this list isn't great and there aren't any unranked guys that I saw that were actually fighting anyone worth mentioning.
Noone told Godfrey they changed venue so it's off again. So yeah vote on Godfrey
