Should Andre Dirrell remain in the pool at 168?
Should Andre Dirrell remain in the pool at 168? After losing to Carl Froch (currently 3rd)?

How far should Jermain Taylor (currently #4) drop? After being stopped by Arthur Avraham, 1 - 3 spots?
Jermain Taylor

Should Jean Pascal remain in the pool at 168?
Should Jean Pascal (currently #6 at Light-Heavy) remain in the pool at 168?
He did fight at 168 in April, but his last 2 fights have been at Light-Heavy & his next fight will also be at 175 in a rematch with Adrian Diaconu

Re: Should Andre Dirrell remain in the pool at 168?
Should definately remain in the pool. If anything, he should be moved into the rankings, he put on a quality display dispite losing.
-
Re: Should Andre Dirrell remain in the pool at 168?
No way a guy drops out based on a robbery. In fact we should introduce a robbery rule where a guy can drop a place based on bullshit judging. I have a big problem Froch being above Dirrell, let alone Abraham, after last night.

Re: How far should Jermain Taylor drop?
My mistake there, I meant to click 2 spots to 6. Still think he's better than guys like Bika & Stieglitz

Daniel Geale vs Samir Barbosa for #9 at MW?
This division is in serious need of filling up. Lopez should really be gone already & 3 vacancies would be taking the piss.
I vote that Geale's next fight should be for the #9 spot. A win here sets up a clash with our #5, Anthony Mundine.

I agree, I definitely feel Geale should be rated, so if Barbosa manages the miracle a causes an upset I feel he'd have earned ranking
As for Lopez, his last fight was technically at 160 anyway as he was slightly over 154, but his next bout is scheduled for 154

All good, we'll count it as 2 spots for your vote

Re: How far should Jermain Taylor drop?
Not trying to be a dick here, but there should be an option for drop to pool, because he has lost 2 in a row. I voted him below Stieglitz, because a win over Balzay meant more than a win over Lacy.

Your right mate, sorry forgot to put it on when I added the poll.
If any manager wants to vote to have Taylor moved straight to the pool just post it in here & it'll be counted
I'll keep my vote at 3 spots, as he did perform well in both of his last 2 fights until the final seconds!

The vote's closed again (stupid me) but here's my 2 cent once again:
True that Taylor lost 2 in a row but even then, his performance haven't been terrible to the point of dropping from everybody's memory, especially as he always faced top notched opponents lately. I think we should consider how the lost happen and to the hands of what type of opposition, too.

The vote was drawn at 2 each, so the lesser drop of 2 spots will stand

How far should Jamie Moore drop?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...ddleweight.jpg
How far should Jamie Moore (currently #7) drop after being stopped by Ryan Rhodes in 7?
Jamie Moore
1 spot to 8th (pushing Latimore to 9th & making Santos/ Foreman for 10th)
2 spots to 9th (Making Santos/ Foreman for 10th)
3 spots to 10th
Straight to the pool
-
Re: How far should Jamie Moore drop?
Gotta be straight to the pool. If he makes some kind of comeback it will be at 160.
-
Re: How far should Jamie Moore drop?
I going with straight to the pool as well
-
Re: How far should Jamie Moore drop?
Jamie Moore drops straight to the pool by a vote of 5 - 1

Should Sergei Dzindziruk (currently #5) remain rated, as his last fight was on the 1st of November ‘08?
Sergiy Dzinziruk

Re: Should Sergei Dzindziruk remain rated?
I voted to the pool, because I haven't heard a peep from him.
-
Re: Should Carlos Quintana remain in the pool at 154?
He's backed out of at least two fights this year, drop him.

He's trying to get out of his contract with Universum, who are currently blocking him from getting fights. I think in this instance he should be given an extension in the same way we gave one to Vasquez. He's actively been trying to get one himself, but they're due to hear it in court in Germany in late December/early January
-
Re: Should Sergei Dzindziruk remain rated?
I understand where Jaz is coming from & Dzindziruk has been trying to get fights, but we don't know how long it will be before this happens. His former promoters stepped it & blocked a potential Williams fight without them, & a lot of promoters won't want to get involved with him until the issues are sorted

They will be in court over it at the start of the year at the absolute latest. I don't feel in this instance that waiting 2 months max is going to be a major problem.
-
Re: Should Carlos Quintana remain in the pool at 154?
Last cancellation wasn't his fault. And HBO made him pull out of the other fight. He should stay

Re: Should Sergei Dzindziruk remain rated?
He has proven enough to remain plus this legal dispute will be settled quite soon.

Yeah but how long before he fights again?
Well, he's been in training & was ready to step in for Williams, so I don't think it will be too far off. I just think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

I hope so, but if your saying January 2010 then that's 14 months already, I don't think another promoter is going to touch him until he has his issues sorted

He's had some bad luck & I hope he gets back in there soon. But the boxing world moves on. Once he's back he can work his in again

That was one big disappointing effort by Santos. He needs to go
