Derrek Ward just had a 1 yd touchdown run for Houston. Fuck you Texans coach.

The Texans are down big so Arian Foster won't get that many carries probably and vice versa I have two WR's on the Giants but they'll probably try to run the ball more since they're up big and anyway when they do pass all they do is throw it to Nicks.
Dreadful day so far.
Mine is very bizarre too; Manning... 4 points, Austin cOlie almost nothing, Addai went out of an injury after a promising start to end up with a ordinary 8 points.... Seems like this week is hard for everybody and our "prediction" keep switching from a side to another, quite a tough week and game.

What a catch Miles Austin just made!

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Was just relaxing in the bath listening to the Arizona v New Orleans game on the radio, not thinking of anything and enjoying a beer, when I heard of Floyd's 60 something yard touchdown. My angry slap at the water meant I had some mopping up to do afterwards.
Once again my non-existent RBs make a miniscule contribution.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
My other league I have Austin, Malcolm Floyd and Antonio Gates. This league is a pile of crap, why did I have to play C-Lo's team the one week they get points?
I'll trade you Matt Ryan for Cedric Benson........................
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
My kicker is a beast. 14 points! I wasn't lying when I said he carried me, he had 12 more points than Arian Foster.
Its not in the bag but Tomlinson has to outscore Adrian Peterson by 22 points for Nameless to win. Could happen.
Luckily for me my defense was going up against the hilarious ineptness that is the 49ers.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Last night of the week, Akers got me into contention last night....come on Percy. Hopefully Moss takes the attention and Harvin takes the TDs!

I'm actually looking to trade Shiancoe or Shockey for a good to decent RB. I'm also looking to get rid of Cutler too! I'm still confident with my QBs regardless of how much I bitch about them, ESPECIALLY after picking up Vick on waivers. I've been frustrated with my team's play lately, but it all came together this week. Hopefully they keep going at this rate.

You and everyone else man. Running Backs have been scoring like WR usually do, sporadic great games, usually mediocre at best.

Surely there must be someone somewhere hogging the reliable RBs who score heavily every week and are the backbone of the team. And if that team has too many....Kyle Orton's up for a trade for a decent RB too.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Boucher and the Pirates are having a SICK match up. It's basically LT vs Peterson at this point!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Randy Moss has just put Team Frazier into the lead....my competition for bottom of the league just got into gear. :o
Whoop whoop Harvin....that's got to bring it VERY close in my matchup.

I am desperate to see Keller and the Vikes defence off the field...that's where I'm losing out. Get Harvin and the boys on the field!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Percy f'ing Harvin!!! What a catch by Perce, now hopefully we can 3 & out the Jets and get that ball back.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Bittersweet victory. Unlikely I'll drop that lead now, but I thought Brett Favre had hit his hot streak and was going to get us back up that field for the FG.... one play after Harvin was overshot when he was wide open, then he throws that ugly interception.
Last week I was talking about how the bye week was really going to make the difference for the Vikes, this week, will the extra week working with Randy Moss make any difference? That Cowboys game already looks like a big game.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
This sucks! I held a 44 point lead going into the Sunday Night game. Manning, Addai, and Collie left to play against...
Please throw more picks! But not to DeAngelo Hall cause that would also be bad for me!
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
6-0. Somewhat fortunate to win this one, BG put up some points and I went down to the last minute to pick my second receiver, picked Jeremy Maclin and he put up 31 points. Next up, Rhun.

Since the beginning of the campaign, I have a very bad curse: Whenever I hesitate between the last 2 receivers to put on the field, the one I bench makes tons of points. I missed Collie 30, this week it's Megatron with 24. Still, Manning threw to Collie, Addai scored, for the moment it's a 7 points lead and the defensive is off. So except if Manning or Addai scored turn over, that should notch it for a 5th win in 6. You did improve your team greatly C-Lo, quite impressed by the moves you did and picking.. Jenning that I threw out 3 weeks ago or so and who seems to served you well this week.

Just as I said that Addai gets injured and fumbled.... recovered by Washington!! Still 6 points up but...

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Going into MNF I was needing a big passing game for the Titans. Naturally Vince Young gets injured.... there's always next week! :p
Nice win Greg.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
It's just ludicrous, I have 7 players bye this week 7, including my 2 QB!!! I don't see much how I can win this week with Johnson, Addai, Collie, Manning, Sanchez and Tomlinson's out.... oh well.

Thanks buddy! I had to make a lot of moves because after the first couple of weeks, I wasn't happy with how my team was performing. Luckily for me, the moves I made with my defensive backs were huge. Pat Chung and Kerry Rhodes scored more than my WRs the weeks I added them. Plus, you have to take advantage of the unlimited moves.

Yeah at some point I really thought that I might lose that one, especially with Megatron benched that cost me 24 points:mad: This week though I have to hope that the big 3 of Violent Demise don't score much because I have 7 :mad:players out... I knew Indianapolis was out, which wouldn'thave been too bad as I thought I could field Sanchez and johnson to field the gap but then I reAlized that the Jets and... Detroit were BYE too :S it will be a tough tough game with an utter B team on the field.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
I'm leaving today to go on a little vacation out in the middle of nowhere so I'm just going to have to set my lineups and hope for the best. Well, I may get to a computer on Friday. I don't know. I'm a bit undecided about Antonio Gates, he's questionable and I've got a great backup TE in Zach Miller but its Antonio Gates, he's been awesome and he'll most likely play.

I have the same problem in my other league, they said it was actually his toe and not his ankle, so I am a little less concerned. What worries me though is how much Rivers was beat up last game.

I'm willing to look at a trade involving Kyle Orton if you have a quality running back you can bear to part with.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Coming in to the game against the last undefeated side in the league, was hoping for some inspired selections. Kenny Britt...come on down. I think he's close to equalling the lowest week I've had involving my whole team!
Come on!

Don't remind me. He was listed as questionable on Saturday. Won't matter if I win the week. Will if I don't

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Worst episode ever, I had 7 players BYE, picked a decent QB and WR to fill the gap BUT... as I am working like a crazy devil these days, I logged in 20 minutes too late to put them from the bench to my roster. This will likely cost me the game which I would have won otherwise... except if VD's 2 players on the field are doing jack and shit, which I do not believe will happen. Worst episode EVER PLUS Thomas was supposed to play, so I did put him on my team and at the very last minute, he's out!! Still, with 3 of my top players not playing (one RB, one WR and the QB), I managed to score 92 points. Once the Colts aren't bye anymore, I should go back to the steamrolling session though and not lose some stupid games like what will likely happen this week.
-
Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
This has been a crazy season, very little consistency out there. I mean the Raiders scored over 50 points FFS.

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
Came into tonight 10 points behind whoever it is I'm playing. Ands he's without a quarterback and 1 receiver/back :vd: I dread having to rely on Eli Manning. But it looks like he's got me the week. He still a punk, though. And I still don't like him

Re: Saddoboxing Fantasy football league 2010
LOL, what the hell, I just get in, check the scoreboard and Rhun scored 175 points against me.
I couldn't really keep up but just looking at some of the games and ESPN it seemed like maybe I wasn't having a very good day but fuck it wouldn't have mattered, I think that's the high score for the year.

I got lucky in choosing Britt over Washington when it came to choosing which one to keep in. I was looking at the Scorecast and couldn't believe my eyes as the three WR's racked em up big time.

sigh...needed Driver and Roy Williams to combine for 13 points...got 0 from both
