Khan is open to counters.
When khan flurries diaz will counter.
The longer it goes the worse it will be for khan

Same old Khan really. Tremendous offence, but open to be countered. Against a guy with more power he would be in a lot of trouble.

I'm not sure Diaz can hurt him though.

I like khan but very nervous for him

Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Well, I guess Diaz can hurt him.

Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Flash knockdown thankfully
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
He doesn't seem badly hurt though. Diaz could walk into something here.
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
He just can't take a punch
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Looked like he tripped a bit, but still...
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Im not buying the trip/flash knockdown. The legs went a little bit there.

It certainly appears that way.

Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Khan has no recovery if he gets a good shot. That was a weird knocked down, didnt look bad at all.
He needs to stay back from his opponents.
His hands are so quick it's unreal.

Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
wrong fight from diaz in the 5th. Make Khan come to you and counter...
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Nice adjustments by Khan since the kd.
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Khan is very good at punching on the way out.

That's a smart adjustment Khan made, making Diaz come to him.
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
I understand Diaz is looking to counter. But he needs to let his hands go more
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Khan can hit also he isn't feather fisted, still looks like its khans fights.

I think he's a bit wary of Khan's speed and power.
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
That cut could actually benefit Diaz if it makes Khan get more aggressive.
-
Khan is supposed to be having a world title fight next.
Golden boy will yet again delay it and milk some more money from some other lightweights.
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Khan loves the push the head down-left hook to the body combo. He should be getting warned for that.
-
Diaz has taken some good shots.
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Fair play to Khan, he's so rarely in a dull fight. Despite all the coaches telling him to stay on the outside and outbox just about everyone he comes across, he just wants to get inside and fight, where he's vulnerable. Not a great professional, but hugely entertaining.

Diaz should stick to his plan (if he had one) MAB v Naz ;) even if it means no one throws a punch for a minute...keep backing up, counter, double the impact, be patient

Exactly. I love watching him fight.

Feel sorry for the guy

Shocking this fight has gone this far considering neither fighter is known for having a chin

I almost made the very same joke in my post. Great minds...

Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Khan is doing well to not get hit.
Although he just took a flush left hook and barely even flinched.

but also khan doesn't get spoken to for leaving his arm out, using the head, holding diaz's head down...just saying
-
Re: BOXNATION -Khan-Diaz, Harrison-Wilder, Saturday Night Fight Thread
Every time I watch Khan fight, I end up feeling sorry for him. Not the best quality in a fighter.

I agree, but that's always the case with the house fighter. He didn't get that courtesy in Washington. Khan is also doign a ton of holding.
