Really like both guys but have been a Mijares fan much longer. Kind of hope the old vet pulls it off
Santa Cruz landing well to the body and head. Mijares doesn't want to be in that close :-\
Mijares was on a lot of pound for pound lists till he went in with Darchinyan. Never the same since. This doesn't look like it's going to go twelve.
Thought Guevara showed some holes in Santa Cruz. If they still exist Mijares might find em, doubt it now though. Santa Cruz is a breath of fresh air in a sport filled more and more with prima donas. A fighters fighter.
Mijares must not have the legs. Never seen him so stationary.

I think Golden Boy missed a trick not making Santa Cruz vs. Mares. Santa Cruz would have shocked everyone by fucking Mares up. I always felt that.
Honestly a Heavy bag with a picture Mijares face stuck on it would have give Santa Cruz more of a workout than this.
