eighth to sandor
Teo just looks flat as can be. Almost wish this was 12 rounds. 9th Martin
nineth to sandor
When espn crew keeps repeating "this is real close" it means prepare the ski-masks. Teo needs a KO
It's over.
The judges will make it a wider decision than it should be. No way hometown favorite Lopez loses this decision.
i've got sandor by a point
I thought Sandor cost himself by coasting too much down the stretch
I'll bet at least one judge sees it 8-4 Lopez. It'll be a UD, with slightly varying cards. (I think it was closer myself).
Martin won this for me, 2-3-5-7-8-9 and KD.
:horseshit: 96-93...97-92 Lopez
They are fucking high tonight in New York. That was horrid. Martin jobbed in the 10th but Teo got his ears boxed off..and dropped twice.
on judge has it for teo by five points, one has sandor by a point, the other has teo by three points. teo by split
Martins nose is hilariously swollen just at the bridge there...great stuff.
Horseshit decision. Even the Top Rank broadcast crew gave it to Martin. "I don't know what the judges were seeing" was the diplomatic way they dealt with the decision.
Crawford sparked the Russian in the sixth. Nice right hook. It was definitely Zab Judah.

It was in fact Zab Judah.
Teofimo Lopez is already back in training following his controversial split decision victory over Spanish southpaw Sandor Martin on Saturday.
The former WBA, WBC ‘franchise’ IBF and WBO lightweight world champion climbed off the canvas in the second round to win the ten-round contest at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Lopez, 25, won on two of the judges cards with scores of 96-93 and 97-92, with the other having it as 95-94 in favour of Martin.
But he was made to work for the win after being dropped by a quick right hook early in the bout.
His victory has kept him on the path to a future world title shot having now won back-to-back fights since losing his belts to George Kambosos Jr last year.
And Lopez is refusing to take any days off in his quest to become a two-weight world champion following his step up to the super-lightweight division as he uploaded a video on Twitter of him working out.
Despite being battered and bruised from his battle with Martin, Lopez showed he was having a Lovely Day – as he blared out the hit track from Bill Withers.
Lopez was working on his core in the gym as he flexed his impressive physique.
But one thing he wasn’t impressed by was his performance against Martin.
Picked up by ESPN’s microphones, Lopez was heard asking his own team, “Do I still got it?”, as he questioned himself following his display.
Though he suggested in his post-fight interview that Martin’s tactics nullified him from being able to showcase his talent.
He said: “It’s so hard to fight somebody like this, when they’re running the whole time.
“Every time this guy committed, I countered and got him every time. He just ran the whole time.
“It’s OK, though. We got a lot to work on. But first off, I want to thank God for this, no matter what it was.
“I apologise to everybody tonight. This is not how we perform. But listen, our dance partner was running the whole time.
“Every time that this man wanted to commit, I was countering him and tagging him. That’s why he was running the whole time.”
