Alrighty then...back from the dinner date & all's well & good...for those that missed this shat live...it's replaying on HBO @ 10:00 p.m. tonight & also 1:00 a.m. this morn.
I'll be sitting it out for either one...or the other...or both.

fair play to wlad....ive not seen the fight yet, but it seems wlad was very impressive. i was hoping byrd had made enough adjustments to try and overcome the wlad jab to some extent. easier said than done i suppose!
byrd will be back, i wouldnt mind seeing him go in with toney...that would be good.
maybe wlad can go after valuev and put a big L on his record....
once again, well done to wladimir klitschko....he's gone back up in my estimation...
oh, and of course :coolclick: wacko, for an excellent DRBR....

It'd be a good fight because they are both actually middles fighting in the wrong division. Competitive fight with no power punches to KO the other man....unless Toney masters the art of nipple blasting...then Byrd's fwocked. ;D

The simple truth is that Byrd is not a true heavyweight. He's never beaten a true top heavyweight. Not faulting him for coming up and getting a title in a decimated division but he, like James Toney, is a bloated cruiserweight at best.
He should drop weight so he could dominate. Otherwise he's going to get KO'D again.

I want to say yes...but I'm just not sure that he can pace himself.
Since he came back from defeat he's fought two little guys & one power puncher that is about as skilled with his fists as my two year old is with a box of crayons.
I think that he can make a splash...but just not enough to make waves in the division.
