How did Claire leave what?
The show a few seasons back? I remember Kate took over the baby. Was Claire taken on the island or did she "die?" :-\
Supposedly she may have "died" when the freighter people attacked. I have no idea.
Not sure I totally get what's going on but a better episode. Honestly though anytime you have one episode that features Kate and one episode that features Locke you pretty much know which one's gonna be better.
And if the numbers are real and all that candidate gibberish is real that means Kate, who wasn't assigned a number, isn't a candidate which is fantastic and raises Jacob up in my estimation cause he instinctively knew Kate was too fucking pouty, annoying, and boring to save the world. Which brings us back to Jack but at least Jacob got one out of two right.
Who/what do you think Jacob is? Obviously Kate not being mentioned in the cave is significant. To be fair, If I could summon people to an island Kate wouldn't be far off the list, i'll get used to her annoyingness.
((are we the only two gays watching this then? thought this thread looked pretty epic at one time :-\))
well yeah if epic means El Gamo furiously emoticoning all over the place
But yeah some of the people that regularly posted on here aren't around anymore and then there are others that haven't been around lately.
I think Jacob could be the "bad" guy actually. And maybe fake Locke isn't. Although he still could be. :cwm13:
I want to see Ben get over this bemused phase and go back to fucking people over.
Fake Locke has killed people as the smoke monster though. Goodies can't be killers? Or did he kill baddies?
Jacob does look like a stoned out evil bastard.
What is happening with the scenario where the plane didn't crash? Things are meant to be working out good for everyone, right? Like Hugo looking content as a fat cat and Locke getting the teaching job and what not?
Well I can't think of everyone he's killed but there was Eko who he only killed after Eko refused to repent and said he wasn't sorry for the things he'd done.
Trying to remember who else was killed by the smoke monster :-\ The pilot, in the pilot :beat:
Jacob is a manipulator though if his interactions with the Lost people in the season 5 finale really had some bearing on their lives. He gave Saywer the pen to write that letter, made Kate think she could get away with theft and being a horrible actress, did something to Jack and the other ones but I've forgotten what it was.
But the main reason I think fake Locke could be the good guy (or they're both not totally all good or all bad) is that it seems a bit too simple for him to be the bad guy. They always try to surprise people even though its usually not that surprising.
In the other life some people are better off but some aren't, Rose has cancer, Charlie still a drug addict, John still paralyzed for the moment although he doesn't seem that bad off.
I thought they were showing Rose as a contented character, accpeting of the cancer and that's what Lockes teaching job was about and that whole ridiculous nonsesne where Kate and Claire hooked up and what not. I'm sure a season or two ago these characters decided life on the island must be better than what they had before? Ahh fuck.. I really haven't a danny (that means clue)
Tell me what you think Jacob and Fake Locke are? Like gods?
I don't know what they are. There's obviously something not right about them. I think its pretty clear they are playing some kind of big game and are using the Lost people just as pawns.
I don't know what to think about this season so far. Maybe my expectations were too high.
Who was that kid with Jack? I didn't catch his name. It wasn't Aarron, err?
I still haven't seen the new episode, I think its a Sayid episode.
Half of me just wants it over with but cannot look away. And why do all the brothers die?The smoke monster is coming off as very gimmicky now,the whole chain sound yeah yeah..."oooohhhhhhh scary".......and Locke now has Sayid and Sawyer as recruits??And why the fook hasen't Hurly lost any weight being on a island for 3 damn years?
I missed a couple weeks in a row but am catching up now. For most of this season I've been forcing myself to watch, not interested really as I thought the first five episodes or so were for the most part shit but just watched sundown, the sixth episode, the Sayid one, and thought it was pretty damn good actually. This could be building towards an interesting ending.
