Hall Pass - Fucken funny and recommend it. Laughed thru the whole fucken movie.
Stone - Sucked ass, really thought it would be good. Maybe I set my expectations way to high. Just lagged for me.
Gnomeo & Juliet - Fucken funny took my little brother and 2 little cousins.
Basically no plotline other than the guy just doesn't like authority and made being in prison hard for himself. In America he would have been killed...though he was in solitary for quite a long time which could explain why he wasn't killed in England.
I just watched MST3K's 'Giant Spider Invasion'...hilarious as always, the actual movie even had Alan Hale (whom some might remember as The Skipper from Gilligan's Island). MST3K has some good episodes on Netflix streaming.
Having a bit of a nostalga trip at the mo and watching some films I watched and thought were great when I was a kid/teen.
Major League - Still brilliant
Above the Rim - Toilet
Menace to Society - Toilet
Well I've got Rifftrax: House on Haunted Hill shipping to me....and THEN The Expendables.
I watched 'Cobb' the other night about baseball great 'The Georgia Peach' Ty Cobb...I have to say it was disappointing it focused too much on Cobb's character and lifestyle as opposed to baseball and how he played the game...complete disservice to him. So what he was a racist and a bigot and half crazy and he pistol whipped a man to death when his gun jammed as he tried to thwart the robbery, and sure he stomped on an armless World War I vet that questioned his race....but the man was a GREAT ball player. It pisses me off that certain people get a break when it comes to media coverage and certain people don't...Cobb deserves a break as in his era his views and way of life wasn't all that uncommon and that's a FACT.....not saying it was good or bad, but Hollywood and sports writers like to apply today's morals and values in the past and then judge characters as clowns or villains...it's irresponsible. Look at Babe Ruth for example, he wasn't a "clean" character but he's still looked at like a clown and not a villain, apparently nobody appreciated Cobb's grind it out attitude or his twisted sense of humor....I don't know, it just pisses me off, if Cobb played for the fucking Yankees he'd have been remembered more fondly, bunch of bastards.
I watched the worst movie ever last night - Unthinkable. Samuel Jackson, MIchael Sheen, Carrie Ann Moss and Superman. The cast seemed good. Utterly pathetic.
Bronson was filmed from the perspective of his crazy alter-ego. It was an "art" film that heavily ripped off a Clockwork Orange. I thought it was going to be shit but loved its quirkiness.
"England's most violent criminal" was just a newspaper headline. He was/is just a nutter. And obviously there are far more violent, murdering lunatics in British prisons.
black swan
Just watched Blade Runner on Netflix streaming and I must say 1st off that's a very good Sci-Fi movie and 2ndly back in the day Daryl Hannah was smokin' fucking hot.
Finally watched Oceans 11.....not bad.
The original 'Gods must be crazy' other night...still love that little gem.
Below the Rim | Gay Porn Movie
This one? :-X
I'm going to see Red Riding Hood tomorrow. I heard it's directed by that Twilight woman so I'm a bit worried.
Watched THE UNKNOWN last week when it was first released over here.It was a good film, not better than TAKEN but good enough to watch.Plenty of twists and turns throughout the film though.I'd give it 7 out of 10,10 being AWESOME!
The Fighter is great.Give that 9 out of 10.I've had The green hornet on dvd for weeks but have'nt yet watched it,i was looking forward to watching it but going by your reations bud im a bit doubtful its any good:-\.
Just watched Jack Ass 3 a few days ago on dvd and thats worth a giggle;)
I just got done watching the Polish movie 'Katyn'.....wow, I tell you what, just when you thought there was no lower form of life than Nazi's you find out what the Soviets did. The poor people of Eastern Europe, they got it bad twice, the Nazi's then the Soviets....God bless America! Gitmo is a fucking day spa compared to that shit, I mean the Soviets didn't play, they didn't have trials they just piles people up in trains motored them out to the woods and put a bullet in their heads and buried them in mass graves with a bulldozer.
Yay Capitalism indeed!
The Pursuit of Happyness, what is the moral of that story starring Will Smith?
Underworld
Underworld Evolution
Underworld Rise of the Lycans
Trekken
The Crow
Rifftrax: House on Haunted Hill....just as funny as MST3K IMO, great job lampooning that movie. FYI, it was the Vincent Price version and not the newer one, though they may have done that as well.
Watching 'Media Malpractice'....OUTRAGEOUS! I hope in 2012 we can get rid of Obama and Biden how Obama got elected was absolutely fucking ridiculous!

Are you asking as in you saw the film and don't get it.
Or as in your saw a trailer and you want to see it?
If it's the 1st one then wow! you completely missed the story as a whole.
You should have your sight and hearing checked. I'm just kidding...
The movie for me is one of the most powerful films I have ever seen.
The struggles of everyday life and how things connect one thing leads to another.
Events start to unravel and just take their own life in between all that he has to raise his son and provide him however he can.
A film that really hits home for me as I struggled for several years and know what it's like to live day to day like your just not getting anywhere and life seems to kick you down everytime you get back up.
If it's the 2nd one then forget everything I just told you and watch the film.
So how was it?
Good to know that I'm not the only one who waisted time off his life... ;D
This Friday will be the 1st time I go see 2 movies in 1 night in a looooooong time.
Gonna go see the Lincoln Lawyer & Limitless...

takers this started off ok, abt bank robbers, but in the end u dont care what happens to them as there all pricks anyway 5/10
i spit on your grave (remake) this was a really hard film to watch, the rape scene was truelly horrendous too over the top for me 5/10
the human centepede stupid film the trailer was scarier than the actual film 1/10
had a film fest yesterday evening..
the fighter - didnt appeal to me, way too melancholy for a boxing film
S.W.A.T firefight - surprisingly refreshing, didnt take itself too seriously. Very cliche but thats what you have to expect from films like that
Tron - normally not the sort of thing id find entertaining but had some good moments, the motorbike scenes inside and outside the game were quality. Thought the ending was a bit gay considering he told her he wanted to show her something (honestly thought he was gonna flop it out on her face there and then) but it turned out to be the sun rising in the morning :mad::mad:
I watched Bonhoffer a documentary about one of the first people to speak out against Hitler. I wasn't all that impressed.
I also watched part of this old Hitler/Nazi propaganda film (the name escapes me at the moment) but for a "propaganda" film it had a lot of music and marching but very little speaking. I'm no Nazi sympathizer or anything, but after having watched "Downfall" and any number of WW2 specials I've just always been curious in what Hitler actually said when he was giving those speeches at the big rallies and all. It wasn't all that impressive, he must have had good media coverage or something. Either that or World War I and the economic struggles really allowed him lots of room to do whatever he wanted...which is of course true, but still it boggles my mind to see how all that snowballed into what it eventually became.
the fighter - didnt appeal to me, way too melancholy for a boxing film
Come on you didnt find Dickie to be a fucking character? Shit was real, you should check out the documentary Life on crack st to see him for real. Poor boo boo and the toothless chick, I dont wish that on anyone.
That Nazi propaganda film I saw was called "Triumph of The Will" and all I wanted to know was basically when Hitler was screaming in German, what the hell was he actually saying...and it was mighty boring. For example, the workers that were building the Autobahn at the time Hitler told them grandiose things about how those people were restoring German pride blah blah blah...just a bunch of lip service to the zombified youth of Germany.
I watched Quills about the Marquis de Sade it starred Geoffery Rush (great actor), Kate Winslet, Michael Caine, and Joaquin Pheonix...it was an ok movie I guess. I had wondered a bit about de Sade after having heard so much about him about all.
I saw the 1991 take on The Pit and The Pendulum starring Sci-Fi & B-Movie super star Lance Henrikson as Grand Inquisotor Torquamada...the film itself was laughable, but the female lead was pretty hot so that was it's one saving grace because otherwise I think it could be used for torture if Spain ever decides to have another Inquisition.
I have just finished watching Caddyshack. In fact, I have downloaded a load of Bill Murray films, but that's the one I watched this evening. I quite liked it, there were a few funny moments. I will watch Stripes tomorrow.
I saw it about a year ago, but my short term memory issues mean that it deserves another viewing. I remember quite liking it, I must have about 20 Murray films downloaded or in the process of downloading right now. So, it's going to be a weekend Murray marathon!
Didn't go to the movies last night.
Might go tonight.
Just saw the Mechanic, good watch a bit short but good.
