Due date - the bearded guy is genius.
Zack Galefinakis....he stars in my favorite TV series right now 'Bored To Death' on HBO. Very funny guy, his stand up is great as well.

Bronx Tale is on BBC tonight, I have not watched it in ages. :)
marley & me bloody hell this was depressing, i thought it was suposed to be a kids film?
Imagine that the most boring eddie murphy film EVER!
Watched Liam Neesons new film 'Unknown' - I'd give it 3.5 stars out of 5
Rifftrax: Night of The Living Dead....very funny. After watching Rifftrax: House on Haunted Hill, I skipped NOTLD up to #1 on my Netflix queue.
the expendables (on blu ray) not seen since the cinema but just good fun;D
my mrs said she wont come & see scream 4 with me, i told her right thats it i aint watchin anymore of them twilight shite films anymore then
OK since the last time I posted on here I've seen:
The Expendables: I thought it was going to be awesome but it was extremely disappointing. #1 The action scenes were lit horribly so you couldn't tell who was doing what #2 The story was bogus #3 Guys like Ahhnold, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke and Dolph Lundgren had very small trivial roles and #4 Did I say the story sucked? It's a falsehood that "Action Movies" have 0 plot or porno-poor storylines...granted some movies have far out storylines, but this is just bad writing on display: The Dirty Dozen, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Bullit, Red Dawn, Rambo, Terminator, Rocky, Predator, Commando, etc all had decent enough plots and dialogue for most people to consider them classics. 'Point Break' is HANDS DOWN my favorite action movie of all time.
G.I. Joe the cartoon series Season 1 Disc 1: Well I was feeling a bit nostalgic and figured "What the hell, I'll try it".... :vd: I am absolutely shocked that when I was a kid between cartoons and Nintendo (the original NES of course) that I didn't have massive bouts of siezures from all the flashing lights and shit. It was kind of neat to look back on what I used to watch, but it was also disappointing because it's just a lot more boring than I remembered.....the storylines, action scenes, and dialogue were still better than The Expendables though....I was kind of disappointed they didn't have the PSA's at the end of each episode though you know the ones, they always ended with "Now you know.....and knowing is half the battle".
I think next up in my queue I've got Chinatown, My Little Chickadee (a W.C. Fields movie), and The Hurt Locker
Limitless - Awesome film enjoyed it from beginning to end. Entertaining and keeps you at bait thru the whole film.
Lincoln Lawyer - Fantastic. Really good acting Phillippe kicks ass in this film. Must see.
Just watched "My Little Chickadee" starring WC Fields and Mae West. WC Fields is ALWAYS funny, but Mae West was a one trick pony and her schtick got very old very quick.
Next up in my queue is the Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson classic "Key Largo"...and after that is Venture Brothers Season 4 disc 1.
Hobo with a shotgun, ridiculous over top violence but great fun. Any film that features two brothers flamethrowing a packed schoolbus and trying to saw off the head of the heroine has to be a worth a watch.
I watched Monsters Inc last night and I really liked it. I've seen it about 4 times. I like that Pixar stuff a lot.
No Country for an old man: Not bad at all actually, I had bigger expectations but it was quite good, load of action and a few cool lines.
Witch season: Not worth it, really. The twist at the end is a bit pathetic and the only positive side about the movie is that Ron Perlman is as per usual good. It's not the worst movie I've seen, it has a few good moments but overall, do not put it on the top of your list and watch only if in a total despaired mode with nothing else on your hands.
I watched Slapshot last night...total classic.
We Were Soldiers.
Couple of TV movies
Watched Undisputed again, fooking love that film, yeah its cheesy but its a great 90 mins entertainment. Found out the other day that there is an Undisputed 2 and 3 :o Iceman gets sent to a Russian prison this time, dude has no luck ;D, then one of the guys from that film takes the lead in Undisputed 3 in a kind of international prison hard coont competition.
Watched Green Street last night ;D I knew it was toilet but fuck me what a shower of shite. Even the cockney wasnt a cockney. Someone at some point was proud of making that.
Green Street is crap..#1 I can't take Frodo seriously as any type of badass and #2 I love the way that everyone in England just brushes aside any and all American sports rivalries specifically the Red Sox and Yankees....it wasn't that long ago when Red Sox fans jumped into the bullpen and fought with the Yankee relief pitchers...it's a big rivalry we just don't have "hooligans"
I've got Key Largo at the house...I'm excited about seeing that, it's a classic movie, but I've never seen it at all.
I watched part of 'Gone With The Wind' a while ago and I've just got to say Clark Gable was a straight player...dude was smooth.
Rio - Funny as fuck.
The Adjustmen Bureua - I actually enjoyed it and was entertained. Had me guessing the whole way thru.
The Warriors Way - What a fantastic film. I liked it better then Ninja Assasin.
Little fockers
Was shit but Jessica Alba stripped to her undercrackers so its all good.
Key Largo....Bogey and Edward G. It doesn't get any more bad ass than that! Great flick!
Cash back, a movie about an insomniac that can stop time.
It also has Keeley Hazell's tits.
Wedding Singer is a quality film no matter how many times I see it.
I'm re watching all my old DVD's as I have no internet, so watched Superman 2 last night. I think it is a quality film and in particular really like General Zod. I can do a pretty nifty Zod impression "You will kneel before me, Superman". Will do an Indiana Jones marathon over the weekend.
have you ever seen Richard Donner's version of Superman II ? I been meaning to watch it but not been able to get hold of it (without buyng ! ;D)
Although its the same storyline its described as a 'very different film'.

Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yeah, I knew about the Donner version, but haven't seen it. It's a massive shame that Richard Donner wasn't able to complete Superman 2 without being given the boot because he did a great job with shooting most of 1 and 2 in one go, but wasn't able to finish 2 because of those Salkind producer idiots. Lester's version turned out really well, but it's a shame that Donner couldn't do it because he had already laid down the roots of Superman and it was only with 2 that you are seeing the emergence of a proper superman film without all need to build up the character. He was never given the chance to finish what he started and of course Lester reshot large chunks of it.
I would really like to see that actually. Would be very interesting viewing.

Went to see Fast Five last night...
Really good lot's of action.
Less racing more plot/action story.
Strongly recommend it. (Won't spoil it for those who are really interested but stay thru all the credits ;) )
Watched Jumper and it was crap.
In The Valley of Elah
