One of the guys I work with โhatesโ trump. I asked him why. His response was trump is in so far over his head he is lost. I asked him for an example he told me he couldnโt give me one because he doesnโt watch the news he just heard someone else say that.
exactly people just parrot the talking points about how he is lost or how he is unhinged or how he is deranged or how he has Alzheimer's or how he is a train wreck.

What has Trump done to boost the economy exactly? Other than a tax cut for business and corporations where the money went to the top one percent and nothing to workers? Similarly all the increased economic growth has gone to top earners and not workers. Here it is in a nice graph:

Don't forget job creation has fallen under Trump. Much higher under Obama.
Trump dealt with NK but unilaterally agreeing to a meeting and various concessions unlike all previous presidents without NK making any concessions. Then Trump got an agreement that wasn't even as good as the previous two agreements where NK also agreed to denuclearise and returned to America saying sllep easy, I've solved the problem. No more threat from NK. The we learn that:
U.S. intelligence agencies believe that North Korea has increased its production of fuel for nuclear weapons at multiple secret sites in recent months โ and that Kim Jong Un may try to hide those facilities as he seeks more concessions in nuclear talks with the Trump administration, U.S. officials told NBC News.
The intelligence assessment, which has not previously been reported, seems to counter the sentiments expressed by President Donald Trump, who tweeted after his historic June 12 summit with Kim that "there was no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea."
While the North Koreans have stopped missile and nuclear tests [they don't need to test anymore as they've now got one that works], "there's no evidence that they are decreasing stockpiles, or that they have stopped their production," said one U.S. official briefed on the latest intelligence. "There is absolutely unequivocal evidence that they are trying to deceive the U.S."

Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, appears to have opted to visit a potato farm instead of meeting Mike Pompeo when the US Secretary of State was in Pyongyang over the weekend for the latest round of discussions on the future of the Korean Peninsula.
Mr Pompeo arrived in the North Korean capital on July 6 - but his three-day visit was ignored by the North Korean dictator.
Mr Pompeoโs aides were largely kept in the dark about the schedule for the visit, including where they would be staying, and repeated requests about when the secretary of state would be able to meet Mr Kim went unanswered.

SEOUL, South Korea โ North Korean officials did not show up on Thursday for a meeting with Americans at the inter-Korean border to discuss the return of remains of United States soldiers killed in the Korean War, officials said.
Kim Jong-un, the Northโs leader, committed in his June talks with President Trump to repatriating American soldiersโ remains. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said last week, after meeting with officials in North Korea, that working-level talks on the matter would be held on or around Thursday in Panmunjom, the โtruce villageโ on the border between North and South Korea.
Though American military officials went to Panmunjom for the meeting on Thursday, their North Korean counterparts did not, according to a United States defense official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. A South Korean government official, who also asked for anonymity, confirmed that the North Koreans had not shown up at Panmunjom.

Imagine what you'd be saying if Obama had coddled a dictator then been humiliated by him like this. Weak. Naive. A danger to American national security. No idea what he's doing. Unfit for the job.
Don't have to guess actually. You'd just be parroting this:

Rosenstein is the deputy AG. He doesn't investigate anybody. Mueller is investigating the Russian attempt to influence the 2016 election and any potential involvement of American citizens with the Russian efforts. It may turn out that Trump was involved. Even if Mueller has evidence Trump apparently can't be indicted while he's still prez. And he may be able to pardon himself. But obviously it's a good thing that America knows the full extent of any attempt to subvert one of the pillars of its democracy, free elections, and also the criminal involvement of any Americans attempting to help a hostile foreign power achive its aim. Any indictments could take another year or so. It would speed things along enormously if people like Trump and Manafort cooperated with presecutors and told them what they know but they don't want to do that for whatever reason.
Trump can brush these books off as nonsense but he's not the most credible person is he? I mean, who are you going to believe, the guy who has almost hit 5000 documented lies in less than two year since he became prez or the guy with four decades of writing books that have subsequently all been verified by subsequent books and published papers from various administrations? Woodward also has hundreds of hours of tape recorded conversations and hundreds of pages of notes backing this particular book up.
Or you could just ask senior Senators in Trump's own partry whether these books are accurate or not:
Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., an occasional critic of the president, said the purported [Woodward] revelations have been hiding in plain sight since Trump took office.
"This is what all of us have understood to be the situation from Day One," Corker told CBS. "I understand this is the case and that's why I think all of us encourage the good people around the president to stay. I thank [Secretary of Defense James] Mattis whenever I see him."
or this guy
Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse echoed that view while speaking with conservative pundit Hugh Hewitt: "It's just so similar to what so many of us hear from senior people around the White House, you know, three times a week," Sasse said. "So it's really troubling, and yet in a way, not surprising."
or any of the other Senators who said the same thing. Flake and various others have all come out with versions of yes he's an unstable toddler/total moron etc etc. You can look them up on the internet.
"Nothing went to the workers" ......yeah there's a little thing called IMMIGRATION we turn that off and real wages start rising. Yes Illegal immigrants and a glut of unskilled workers depress wages FACT.
But even before that https://www.usatoday.com/story/money...17/1272004002/ Median U.S. household income rises 1.8 percent to record $61,400 in 2017......hmmmm hmmmmm.....re....cord? "Record"......hmmmm well Trump did it so it must be bad.
There's REPORTS out of North Korea but no missiles, no tests, and hey why not randomly guess at why that is that'll help. I'm sorry but the media, NBC etc I've run out of patience for their horseshit. They are indeed fake news they've been lying to the American people since their start.
If? ......IF?!?!?!?! Were you on another planet while Obama was President? I'm asking for a friend. Frees up a couple billion to give IN CASH (UNTRACEABLE CASH) to Iran, tells Medvedev to "Tell Vladimir I'll be more flexible after the election" ......and yet Trump is the guy who is supposed to be in Putin's pocket.....you have to stretch before attempting such logic.Quote:

Household income is always going to break the record in an economic expansion Lyle. Just like you get record tax recepits or record GDP. Just because Trump says "record" doesn't mean it's anything special. It's just the inevitable result of a now decade long economic expansion.
NK stopped doing tests and missile launches because they've developed a nuclear weapon. They don't need to test anymore. And you can get exactly the same information about them increasing their nuclear programme from multiple media places. It's a fact that they're doing it Lyle.
North Korea believed to be 'deceiving' US, increasing nuclear production: report
http://a57.foxnews.com/images.foxnew...9677594115.jpg
By Kathleen Joyce | Fox News
U.S. intelligence officials believe North Korea has been โdeceivingโ the U.S., saying the Hermit Kingdom was bolstering production for nuclear weapons at โmultiple secret sitesโ in the past few months, a report stated. Officials from the CIA and other intelligence agencies told NBC News the regime has increased its production of enriched uranium for the weapons despite the historic summit earlier this month between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and President Trump. Kim and Trump both signed a document on June 12 stating that Pyongyang would work toward โcomplete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.โ
Four other U.S. officials said the Hermit Kingdom was purposely trying to mislead the U.S. "There are lots of things that we know that North Korea has tried to hide from us for a long time,โ one U.S. official said.

Ok Kirkland, you're ever so correct it's why whenever people mention the jobs immigrants do it's always landscaping, maids, unskilled labor......why is this Kirkland?
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/graph/fredgraph.png?g=lcin
Excuse me you said "Household income is always going to break the record" ......does 2014 look like a "record" ? 2011-2012 look like a "record"? And of course you'll say "B-b-b-b-but I said 'during an economic expansion' " ....so Obama's economy (I know you're not giving ANY credit to Trump so don't bullshit me) what started in 2017 after he leaves office? That when it starts?
Sure thing, I mean if I was Kim Jong Un and had been saber rattling since I learned how to walk once I actually got a nuke I'd calm down instead of step up the aggression seeing how aggression in the past got Best Korea paid off by Bill Clinton and Obama and W....yeah seems legit.Quote:

Kim Jong Un can't be trusted....... verification of denuclearization is nice in theory, but apparently doesn't work very well...... and neither of these things will ever change.
Soooo...... why don't we just renew the sanctions on NK...... forget trying to talk to them about anything...... and continue development of countermeasures should Jong Un ever snap and do something stupid.
I understand u guys not liking Trump, itโs politics, but the fact you guys never say anything positive about him is quite strange. This Russia thing will do what it does. He is taking a stance on things that havenโt been addressed for decades. He is very unconventional but it is refreshing not hearing the same tired shit we have been hearing since Iโve been around and long before. We have had presidents that shot from the hip in the past, Lyndon Johnson was very crude, giving an interview while he sat on the toilet. Now people are saying he does do anything good, itโs the people he appointed he is hiding behind. Well shit he appointed them and they run everything by him.
I agree with walrus there about 95%, but the 5% that I can't agree with him is because a couple years ago he did something that wasn't cool
Read what I said Lyle. I said household income is always going to break a record in an economic expansion. This expansion has been going on for nine years now. Your graph shows income starting in to increase in 2014 and it's just continuing the trend under Trump. That's due to the tightening labour market which is due to the eight plus years of solid job growth that started in 2009. You can see it's just the continuation of a trend. So what does Trump have to do with that exactly? Actually Trump has helped the economy apart from the gigantic corporate tax cut. He's increased government spending by $300 billion! So a huge tax cut for the top one percent and a massive increase in government spending which has created a now trillion dollar yearly deficit. During an economic expansion. The party of fiscal responsibility.
Even Fox news can't avoid reporting Trump's humiliation by Kim. I can understand why you don't want to deal with that.

Yes all tax cuts ONLY go to the 1% .....hey Kirk, honey, if you don't pay taxes especially income taxes then there's precious little to "cut". I notice health insurance isn't skyrocketing the way it had been under Obama which saves people money as well, but yes yes people will die between the deaths of people from killing the mandate to net neutrality there's going to be a lot of funerals.
FoxNews is prepping to be sold to ABC/Disney so OMG imagine them agreeing with ABC....I'M SHOCKED!!!!! You did know that right? LOL why am I asking, you're Kirkland, you know ALL.
TRUMP'S ECONOMY HITS NEW RECORDS! (Don't expect the Cultural Marxist media to tell you about it!)

Jobless Claims: 204,000--lowest level since December 1969! Blue Collar Optimism for the Future, a whopping 72%!

Google executives called Trump voters โextremistsโ & vowed to fight populism (VIDEO)
https://www.rt.com/usa/438327-google-leaked-video-bias/
Video of an internal Google meeting shows the companyโs top officials talking about using AI to fight populism and โlow-information votersโ in the wake of Donald Trumpโs victory in the 2016 US presidential election.
The 1-hour โconfidential, for internal use onlyโ video was posted by Breitbart on Wednesday. It has gained traction online, and is cited by pro-Trump commentators as yet another proof of the Silicon Valleyโs bias towards conservatives.
It shows a meeting of the company's executives with rattled staff members shortly after the 2016 presidential election.
โMyself as an immigrant and a refugee, I certainly find this election deeply offensive and I know many of you do too,โ Googleโs co-founder Sergey Brin says in the opening minutes of the video, before admitting that โmany people apparently donโt share the values that we have.โ
So the United States disappoints comrade Brin and yet....

John Kerry Admits to Meeting With Iran About Nuclear Deal, Lawmakers Accuse Him of Violating Logan Act
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortne...-deal-n2518338
Former Secretary of State John Kerry made a few admissions in his interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt Wednesday. One revelation generating a lot of buzz is that, unbeknownst to President Trump, he has met with Iranian officials in recent months to try and save the Iranian nuclear deal, signed by President Obama in 2015.
Kerry has met with Iranian Former Minister Javad Zarif three or four times, while Trump took America out of the nuclear deal in May.
Sooooo yeah John Kerry thinks he can just willy nilly set up treaties with foreign nations?
I wonder what current Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has to say about that?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0im8dKyWaQ
:appl: :appl: :appl:
Here's hoping John Kerry is charged soon.
Yeah, I'll reply to the bits that make any sense.
Low/middle income earners actually pay a higher proportion of their income in taxes that the top one percent. FICA taxes, sales taxes, all the other taxes people pay. Yet it's only ever income tax, whichis overwhelmingly paid by top earners, that is cut. There's no --zero-- economic justification for cutting income tax. The whole point of cutting taxes in the first place is to boost the economy via people spending the tax cut. If you give the tax cut to top earners they just reinvest the money and all that does is bid up the prices of existing investment assets. QED:
https://tse4.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.4...EQHaEj&pid=Api
If you wanted to actually boost economic growth in a way that was sustainable and beneficial you'd do it by cutting taxes low/middle income earners pay to create more broadly shared prosperity. But that never happens because the entire point of the GOP's existence is to cut taxes for big business and high earners and slash regulations that eat into the profits of big business.
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/graph/fredgraph.png?g=le9X
And Trump's campaign manager has now flipped on him.
WASHINGTON โ Donald Trump is telling friends and aides in private that things are going great โ for him.
Some reasons: He's decided that a key witness in the Russia probe, Paul Manafort, isn't going to "flip" and sell him out, friends and aides say. He believes Robert Mueller, who heads the investigation, can be crushed, if necessary, without being fired. Sweeping tax and regulatory cuts will juice the economy and get him re-elected in 2020, he is predicting. He thinks he's learned how to handle the dysfunction of Congress. And he's even come to like the White House, the bad plumbing and drafty halls notwithstanding. "I love this place!" he told one friend.
https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/20...better-n842501
Trump hasn't reacted to Manafort flipping yet. His reaction to Cohen flipping was like listening to the head of one of the five families opine about the American legal system, Trump ranting about how flipping should be illegal and about "rats" who flip. The man who swore an oath to faithfully execute the laws of the country praising criminals who don't cooperate with law enforcement. I think you'll agree Lyle it's quite rare to hear an elected high official talk like he's a member of la cosa nostra. I wonder what he's got to hide. I have a feeling it''ll take another few days but I'm sure he'll give us a reaction to Manafort soon enough.
Every SOS keeps in touch with people they've been involved with during their time in office and passes information onto the current SOS. Kerry is no different from Henry Kissinger who's been doing it for decades. Kerry has talked to Pompeo and Tillerson before him too. This is just political grandstanding by Pompeo, who had nothing to say about it when Kerry met with the Iranians and then with him. Probably just to distract Trump from something.
And in fact here you go.
A spokesperson for Kerry responded Friday evening, โLetโs cut through the distractions and talk about real facts, not alternative facts. Secretary Kerry stays in touch with his former counterparts around the world just like every previous secretary of state, and in a long phone conversation with Secretary Pompeo earlier this year, he went into great detail about what he had learned about the Iraniansโ view. No secrets were kept from this administration.โ
The spokesperson cited Henry Kissinger, who served as secretary of state under Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, as having met โfor decades with Russia and China.โ
โThereโs nothing unusual, let alone unseemly or inappropriate, about former diplomats meeting with foreign counterparts,โ Kerryโs spokesperson said.
Former Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman, who was also singled out by Pompeo, tweeted that the current secretary of state โtried to distract from Manafort and gain points with president by attacking me today.โ
Ned Price, former CIA analyst and adviser to Barack Obama on his National Security Council, was even more direct.
โPompeo was speaking to an audience of one,โ Price said in a statement, referring to the president. โThis was nothing more than an attempt to parrot and please his boss. We know that because Pompeoโs State Department was briefed on these discussions, which are commonplace among former diplomats, both before and after the fact.โ
http://www.newstalk1290koil.com/news...ngs-with-iran/
So it's either Pompeo distracting Trump from something, a planned GOP manufactured outrage story to rouse the rabble and help get the vote out for the midterms, or both.
