Why would they lie about it??
Rooney is there main attraction, if he plays awesome in the World Cup it benefits Utd aswell, enhances his reputation, makes Utd more Money, Utd will do all they can for Wayne to be fit and have done so far.
mate look at it this way fergies dead against it 24 hours b4 the first scan the doctor who said he was doing well and would probly be fit in time got sacked and them doctors will say what fergie wants them to right and he doesnt care bout the world cup being a scot all he cares about is man united and he dont want man u to suffer if he gets injured while in germany simple as tht
Hitman it came from the horses mouth mate Fergi at the Man Utd players awards. ;D

Not that Im a football hooligan but if the Oakland Raider fans are your idea of scary and "rambanctious". Visit Milwall, or Cardiff City. Even the old elemenets of the Chelsea Headhunters And West Hams Inner City Firm are still dangerous.
While Im not proud of it being part of the game, English football hooligans are tough bastards when it comes to sports fans.
Now, lump em in with a boxer and theyd go down like a fat sack of crap but that aint the point is it :P

I'd hate to disincourage ALL of you, BUT Argentina already failed badly last World Cup and with great dignaty I faced on all who laughed at me and the team and admitted that Arg. had failed and was a let down.
So you see we already failed badly this World Cup nobody is REALLY talking about Arg. the way they talked about them last WC. This WC they are getting mentions....Well because they are Arg. but I feel theres no pressure there like in the last WC were it was expected of them to succeed. So with that being said......
MESSI anyone?

Re: Fifa World Cup... GERMANY 2006 discussion thread (link to match schedules inc)
Really getting into world cup mode now - so nervous about Saturday and it all starting for us
I'm optimistic about our chances - but also a realist...
We have the second best team in the tournament on paper (even without Rooney) but we also have a habit of choking on the big stage when it comes to the crunch. Rooney was the one man on our team who was a matchwinner and could turn the game in a moment of brilliance - Brazil have 4 or 5 such figures in theirs
But we are honestly due some luck so who knows - and aren't Brazil due a bit of bad luck ??
Can't see any reason why we won't get to the quarter finals then after that anything is possible - especially as Rooney will possibly be back and properly fit by then.
Like I said - we are due some luck ;)
Come on lads
