Hopkins looked good at the weigh in. They both came in at 174. Hop looks like he carries the weight well.

I think you meant will he perform good carrying the weight. I am a little surprised he came in at 174 I was expecting 170.

Thinking about it Hopkins may carry the 174lbs better than tarver for two reasons
1. Tarver had to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time. There may be a consequence to that

2. Hopkins is 41 and generally as an athlete gets older he does go up in weigh and makes the necessary adjustments. I think Hop will probably look strong.

another thing that a lot of people dont remember is that Tarver aint that much younger than B and it aint like Hopkins has be on the decline or slipping drastically ala Jones. Hopkins has fought a big southpaw in his last two fights so i think he may be used to fighting a big southpaw more so he knows what works and what doesnt

Hopkins looked a million bucks on the scales. Tarver looked ready to keel over tbh.
