well amer kahn outweighs him by about 3 stone so.....
All in all kahn was very good tonight. Put together some breathtaking combo's. He got hit a bit but it is boxing after all. He didn't look troubled by any punch. The french guy looked an awful lot bigger 2 me. Had a very awkward style. No doubt haters will come out with brash comments but this guy is gunna be a world champ. No doubt.

Your getting swept up in his Hype imo
I used to think the same but im with the gaffer on this and believe his chin is his weakness.
When he eventually gets in with a banger we will see who Khan really is ;)

Cmon Saddo, give the kid a break. I know his jaw is still suspect, but that will get tested at some other time. This guy was a bigger guy than Amir, and took an awful lot of punches, and he was as motivated as Khan was. As usual ITV are building Khan up, but it was a decent fight by him in only his 10th bout. Now UI wonder what these comments from Danny Williams will be....retirement?

Immaterial IMO. He is a genuine light welter and Amir handled him easily. No one saud he was Floyd Mayweather, just big and strong. A good test.
Would anyone NOT back Amir to wipe the floor with either Thaxton or Earl just as soon as he is aloud to?

I think that the question of Thaxton and Earl will be a good matchup for Khan sometime next year, his chin will really get tested against those boys.
Been looking through the results from the evening on boxrec, and Nicky Cook won a points victory over Harry Ramoadi, which means Fwank better follow through on his promise of a world title fight for him next year.
The shock for me was Wayne Alexander getting sparked in 1 against a journeyman French lad called Serge Vigne who is now 21-9. I'd really like to see that one if ITV will show it. Was it on ITV4 earlier?

Re: Just another RBR - Harrison v Williams, Khan v some random french chap
Danny Williams says:
"He was very sharp today, I'm going to go home talk to my parents and see if I still have it to be boxer. I was training for it anyway and I was in good shape.
I have neough respect for him, with his height and his reach. I apologised for what I said at the weihg-in and he said we're cool.
I think he can become a world champion, he will cause a lot of people trouble.
"Chances are this won't be the last time you see Danny Williams."

Nice words from Danny, I dont think he's had his heart in it for a while now and he should probably hang them up.
The night he beat Tyson was amazing. I still remeber the buzz on the board that night, awsome.
Re: Just another RBR - Harrison v Williams, Khan v some random french chap
Any news on how Nicky Cook did?
He was the biggest loser of all tonight,Gutted for him
