Floyd fought the legit 147lbr instead of a title holder for $1 more...... I for onewould take the extra $1, the Linear Welterweight Championship, and roughly 25Mil forbeating Oscar ;) Oh and guess what I would do with the extra $1... I would buy Margarito a box of tissue for alll the crying and whining he does.... Hey Arum, instead of living on Mayweather's porch.. Keep your boy active
:coolclick: The second paragraph is right on.
As for the first, Aaron Pryor deserved a shot at SRL, more than Tony deserves a shot at Floyd. I think Pryor woulda wooped that azz! But, you're right, can't fight them all.

Also. Margarito did not beat Cervantes or Arguello.. So Pryor was a big level above Margarito. Margarito did a good job making it sound like Floyd was afraid of him, but FLoyd has guys to fight. He does not need Margarito.
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
I just hope PBF is not retiring because of Margo.
Peace ;D
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
As much as I want to wee this ww tournament play out, I would be satisfied with seeing Floyd fight the winner of Williams/Margarito. But I bet if either of those guys win the ww tournament, he won't fight either of them. But I may be wrong.
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
Well put yourself in Floyd's position. He's just beaten De La Hoya. Why would he fight Tony or Williams?
He's retired and beating Williams or Margarito wouldn't do much for his legacy. He'd beat them both quite comfortably anyways.
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
I don't agree with that at all. But to each his own.
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
You think They would both beat Mayweather?
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
I won't go that far until I watch them fight. But I can guarantee it would be Floyd's most "uncomfortable" fight. No matter which one he fought. I think he'd have a tough time with either one of them. I will say that.
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
Interesting.....i think Williams would be the more awkward because of his height and reach. A genetic freak really. He's decent....i expect him to beat Margarito. Besides landing a lucky punch i really cannot see how Margarito is going to beat Mayweather. I know he has the edge in power but i don't see him landing anything clean. I suppose anything can happen in boxing...i just don't feel thses 2 guys are the main threats to Mayweathers '0' on his record.
Re: To those who think Floyd isn't ducking Margarito?
You and I are on the same page as far as their power is concerned. The thing about Margarito, (I haven't seen this from Williams yet) is he has the wingspan of a Dragon and he knows how to use it. That's another thing that makes him so dangerous. He has the ability to keep Floyd in his wheelhouse for most of the night. He also doesn't get winded toward the end of fights, he's an animal. You couple that with his enormous power and you have a recipe for a night of trouble with pbf. Williams may have those other things too, we already know he has the power. But like I said, we'll see when they fight.
