Lets be honest here though,the fight wasn't a robbery for Taylor. And having Spinks as the 160 pound champ would be strange. It could be difficult to seertively say he was the best 160 pounder. He did well,I like his skills but he should stay at 154. As for JT,make the fight with JC,let JC show his skills to the world again,let him show B Hop and Winky how it is done. ;) ;D

While I agree that it would have been strange to see Spinks as middleweight champ, it doesn't matter what size he is or what potential fight it could make for JT, the truth of it is that I'm ashamed to see JT still have his titles when for me, he was clearly outboxed and not bothered enough to care.

And Spinks for running.. I always knew he was a great boxer, has great speed,counter punching..
He has always boxed.. But he still fought when he was in with the likes of mayorga and judah..
Last night he didnt fight and box..He ran and boxed
I don't agree with 'having to take the title off the champ.' You just have to beat him.....outscore him...generally just win the fight. If neither of these was the champion i reckon the generally consensus would be that Spinks won the fight.

Also...you can't argue with the after match reactions. Spinks nearly shit himself with excitement because he'd won, as did his corner, and JT didn't even raise his arms. He said a prayer for fucks sake...he knew full well he needed it to get a win. I was pretty disgusted with the decision on Saturday, for me Taylor did nothing worthy of a win.

Yeh that was the only decent showing on the card. It was a really good fight. Not quite as good as Earl v Katsidis but stil really really good.
