Oright everyone, hold your horses. No one is right in this thread and no one is wrong. Calm down. The only way we are going to know who is right or wrong is when Mundine faces Kessler or Calzaghe. I think it will be Calzaghe, as soon as negotations with Kessler break down. I don't think he will fight kessler again, which is probably a smart move.
But lets just wait till the fight happens okay?

Im an aussie and unfortunately nearly everytime an aboriginal is criticised by a white person in this country they play the race card, instead of admitting they are wrong. I love some of the great aboriginal sportsmen of this country and am not racist at all, this is an observation i've made.

Wow that is a lot better. There was a lot of criticism leveled at Joe for that fight on this forum i recall.

Can anyone fill me in on Mundine's fight with Siaca?
Also,I think Mundine is generating unecesary criticism because some of his fans are ultra hardcore nut huggers.similar to Kessler and his fans before the big Dane gained respect with his recent performances. I really like Mundine,I think he is a superb fighter and is always improving. His shoulder roll is superb,his srtaight right hand excellent and he has improved his left hook and uppercut. He does come across rather arrogant but that is just part of his persona. The talent is there for sure.
What people tend to forget is he turned pro really late in his career,which makes his accomplishments look even more impressive imo. Also,his loss to Ottke was his 11th pro fight I think! For someone who switched over to boxing late,that is impressive.And he was outboxing Ottke prior to that. As for the Kessler fight,I thought Mikkel won but both fighters have improved since then,especially Mundine. And it could be argued that Mundine gave Kessler his toughest fight thus far. I have yet to see the Siaca fight but I was told Mundine was carrying an injury into the fight.
Make no mistake,he is superbly talented and although there are question marks about his chin,he took some hellacious shots from Kessler who is one of the strongest punchers at the weight. I think JC and Kess beat him but I'd favour Mundine over Froch and Green.
I'm a fan,I won't lie but I see his flaws. He's not the best but he is far far from a bum.

I don't think that burning the Union Jack is necassarily a racist thing, and more of an anti-monarchist political statement. Indeed, there are plenty of pro-independence groups in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland who also burn Union Jacks.

I read that Mundine has hatred for the British for the way our ancestors treated his.
