Hatton : Mayweather must make light-welter to fight me

The weight won't be an issue. It's only a minor incovenience for Floyd. It's not like he packs on the pounds or is afraid of a bit of road work is it?

Even if Floyd vetos 140lbs, the fight could still realistically happen at 147. Ricky weighs more on fight night than Floyd does (even at light middle). Both guys would still retain thier biggest physical weapons at 140 or 147.

Not 100% sure what Rays motivation is for saying this but I suspect it's to do with the fact that Ricky Hatton is still the draw here...people forget that. Why shouldn't Team Hatton dictate the terms?

I say this not being a fan of Floyd's at all....but outside of England Ricky is not a draw. Whether one agree or likes it...Floyd is currently regarded as the pound 4 pound champ. He just fought the biggest star in the sport in Oscar. Not to mention he has a tremendous ego. So with all due respect...Hatton and his team will not be dictating squat. Also, Hatton has shown that his conditioning has been an issue, especially at 147. He doesn't have the size or stamina to be effective at that weight....especially against one of the best conditioned and highly skilled fighters in Floyd. Sure, a pressure fighter could potentially give Floyd problems. But it has to be a strong fighter who has great enough stamina to maintain that power and pressure for a FULL 12 rounds. There is just no way Ricky could do that at 147.

I knew Hatton was a little bitch. He has no balls. Mayweather went up and fought ODLH at 154 and Mayweather IS A NATURAL 135 pounder. This amazes me, Hatton puts Floyd's name in his mouth on HBO but behind the scenes when the world isn't listening, he's behaving little a scared boy. The thing that's funny to me is that Hatton wants Floyd to come down to 140 but if he tries to fight ODLH will he make ODLH come down to 140? Hell no. Floyd should be calling all the shots and if that dwarf Hatton doesn't wanna come up to welter or meet at a catch weight to truly test himself and make a boatload of money then he should go make his 4 or 5 million fighting fighters like Paulie or Ndou because he's not talking about being great.

When Hatton fights often he has got stamina its only when he has a long layoff out of the ring he piles on the weight and then he strugles with his stamina.

ODLH is not going to fight Hatton, that was just to destroy PBF's chances of fighting the brit and make him fight Shane. Since ODLH is not giving Floyd's his rematch, how is Floyd Mayweather gonna make money? I mean, Hatton will make just 4 or 5 million fighting Paulie or Ndou, where is the boatload of money for Floyd Mayweather, raping with 50cent or start acting for real ( to the movies)?

If this is true, Hatton just gave Mayweather the mental edge, this just shows hes not that confident in himself at welterweight. Mayweather isnt gonna kill himself to fight Ricky Hatton, I wouldnt be surprised if this fight doesnt happen. Im thinking Hatton will fight Malignaggi next.
