I doesn't make sense, you guys are saying that Pac would be fighting guys who are naturally bigger then him, well duh! that's why it's called moving up in weight.
Duran started off as a Bantamweight and fought as a Lightweight, Ligh Welterweight, Welterweight, Ligh Middleweight, Middleweight and so on.
I mean fighters move thru weight classes and fight it's what they do.
If Pac want's to be P4P #1 and he want's to cement his legacy even more then why not move up in yet another weight class and give it a go.
You guys should be supporting Pac. No one at Lightweight IMO even has a slight chance at beating Pac not Juan, not David nore Casamayor.
If anything all the big Pac fans should hope and pray that the Diazs and Casa take the bait and fight Pac. I think Pac beats all of them.
Possibly Casa giving him the closest fight but even then I think Pac wins it comfortably.
I am for the move, but I don't think Casa gives Pac the best fight. I think it's Juan. Never seen Pac fight someone who's coming at him. It would be a cracker. Both guys throw tons of punches. I can't see it being an easy fight for either guy. I think Diaz takes a punch better and it would be a tough tough call.
Hope it happens.

For me,it 's okay that Juan is calling on Manny. Anyway, everybody wants to fight Manny.
I've watched again the MArquez vs Pacquaio fight. I stand by my comment earlier that Marquez will have a hard time fighting pacquaio next time. Let me enumerate the reasons:
First, Marquez fought a Pacquaio who has only his left hand as a weapon before. Now, Manny has both.
2nd, I have a video now (just currently purchased it) of Pacquaio showing his swollen left hand during their first fight. He showed it to a Filipino newscaster during the interview immediately after the fight. Pacquaio also showed his swollen foot. Believe me, Marquez was fighting an incapacitated Pacquaio before.
Oh S***,how could I forget the socks?! Manny was wearing the wrong socks for the fight wasn't he? ;D And was the hand swollen before or after the three knockdowns? ;D ;)
Pacquaio said the swelling of hands happened after the three knockdowns. That was not the reason he started to slow down. It was the foot thing that slowed him down. The foot thing happened before the fight.... during his training. He also had leg cramps during the fight. The sock thing was just for promotional purposes. He is endorsing a brand of sock that's why they promoted the issue but it was only for advertisement. During the interview he did not complain about the socks. He complained about meeting an accident during training that had hurt his foot badly.
FAct: He had a bad foot and leg during the fight.

Juan "the Bully" Diaz >:mad
Except that Pac on fight night has outweighed Juan Diaz on fight night for like their last three fights. Pac has weighed 145 in both of his last two. That's about what Mayweather weighed against DLH. Juan weighed 142 tonight. How would fighting Pac make him a bully? It wouldn't be unreasonable (in terms of weight) for Pac to step up against Mayweather, let alone Juan Diaz. But then we'd see how far ahead of the pack (excuse the pun) Mayweather really is.
Personally, I think Juan vs. Pac would be a great fight--two come-forward guys in there together . . . it would be a non-stop action fight. It would probably be the most exciting action fight you could make at 130 and/or 135. There are obviously other good fights for either guy in their own weight classes (Pac vs. JMM really ought to happen; Pac vs. Guzman (after he beats Soto); Juan Diaz v. Casamayor ought to happen; Juan vs. David Diaz wouldn't be terribly competitive but at least it would unify the alphabets) -- but I'm surprised to see so much hate here about Juan just saying he'd like the fight. I guarantee you all would watch it--and many of you would pay for the PPV. I would.
But the fact remains that Juan Diaz has always been the naturally bigger man(FRAME WISE). I think PAC weighs the way he is right now because of increased muscle mass, if Juan Diaz increases in lean mass he'll way more than that.
Re: whats up with baby bull calling out pac?
he wants a big fight. i would prefer juan diaz fighting pac than david diaz
Re: whats up with baby bull calling out pac?
I don't have any problem really with Pac taking on David Diaz first, just cause it would be his first fight at 135 and it wouldn't be bad to test out an easier fight first and see how he is at 135. Then a four belt unification fight.
And I definitely don't think Juan would be "picking on" Pac. Pac's turned into a big 130 pounder and would be by far the best fighter Juan's ever fought. I think its a tougher fight than Casa at this stage of Casa's career. Its easy to see why he would rather fight pac even if you think Casa's a tougher out which is questionable to me, its a bigger name, more money, and people who favored Casa would just say Casa's past it if he lost to Juan. Although I guess those who favored Pac would just say Juan's too big ;D But we can see how Pac looks against David, he should win anyway but if he looks strong at 135 then a fight with Juan would be big.
Re: whats up with baby bull calling out pac?
Im sorry all you Pacquiao fans, but I think Juan Diaz would crush Pacman, he's too big and too active.

Wait, so JMM has to dominate Juarez in order to earn his chance at Pac (whom he drew with, and many though he beat, last time)? But somehow Valero (who has never beaten anyone with a name) is a shoe-in? That makes no sense. Look, I pick Pac to beat any of those guys, including JMM, but if we're going to talk about who "deserves" a Pac fight most, I think there's no question that JMM is first in line.

:coolclick: :appl: Very well said...but...
Have you not realized yet that Pacquiao is the exception to any rule & that he's an undefeatable power train that boxing would go down the toilet without?
Wake up & smell the gotdam coffee babe! ;) ;D
Re: whats up with baby bull calling out pac?
I'm not one of the rabid Pac fans but JMM was the one who turned down the rematch initially.
Have there even been talks lately, haven't been keeping up.

Yep...from what I understand GB wants to push ahead with the match up. The same thing is holding it up from the last time...money.
I hate that shit...but when you've got promoters & networks that want to cash in on a HUGE PPV match up & then you have fighters that demand those huge purses...it's the fans that suffer.
Re: whats up with baby bull calling out pac?
Pac should fight JMM, but I see JMM winning. Pac vs Juan Diaz has potential to be fight of the year, and that's a fight I'd like to see. As far as Juan calling out Pac, smart move, smaller or not, why not call out a top p4p who brings in alot of money.

i've always maintained that those injuries affected pac's performance that night. the pace of that fight became to jmm's liking cos pac slowed down. in a rematch, pac would take over in the late rounds, that is if pac doesn't get him early since jmm doesn't have the best chins around. and bruce, it wasn't a swollen foot but a badly blistered one.

i was talking in terms of how much interest the fight would raise. if jmm-juarez becomes close then a pac rematch wouldn't be so compelling anymore. valero is an unknown entity and everybody would expect fireworks with a match with pac. so that would make it more interesting over the jmm rematch. jmm needs to dominate in his upcoming fight to show he'll be competitive with pac in a rematch.
