Re: It's what you want. It's what I want. Let the predictions begin. Cotto - PBF
What planet are you on?
If you have to retire or you touch the floor through pain it's a knock down.
Jezzz. Sounds like you make up your own rules. LOL
Oh it doesn't count he hurt his hand. If a guy hurts his hand and can't continue the fight would be stopped and the other guy would win.
And the answer to your question is. I would concider t a knock down Iif his hand touched the canvas. That's part of the rules.

I didn't say it wasn't a knockdown....
I said i don't consider it a proper knockdown because it was not caused by a punch.
Oh and what happened to me imaging the Cotto knockdown in the Torres fight smart ass ??
Re: It's what you want. It's what I want. Let the predictions begin. Cotto - PBF
To be honest Colon boy i couldn't be bothered to arguee but seeing as you wnat to here you go.
Not a proper knock down. LMAO.
So let me get this right. Mayweather was badly hurt and clearly in pain and touched the canvas, but that's not a knock down.
Cotto is holding on then turned 180 degrees and pushed down and that's a proper knock down. Even though he shows no sign of pain or damage before or after the count. LMAO.
You're obviously camped up somewhere very close to Mayweathers colon. LMAO
If think your looking for 3 minuites 8 seconds on this clip. Knock down i mean really.

Then again what do i know. You probably know more than "Big" George and me anyway. LOL
Re: It's what you want. It's what I want. Let the predictions begin. Cotto -
Mayweather's figured out the best fighters of his generation, so I don't see why Cotto would be any different. He took the best Hatton had to offer in a long line of champions he's fought, and although I like Cotto, I can't see past Mayweather.

Point is Mayweather hasn't figured out the best fighters of his generation yet. Sure he has fought a few.
He even admitted to avoiding Shane Mosely. And only beating Delahoya with a SD.
He keeps saying he will retire and if he does he will be forever remembered as a nobody.
You also have to remeber Hatton is a light welter weight where as Cotto is a fully blown welter weight.
Just my opinion.

Well let me give you your welcome CC for putting forward your argument. Always good to have a new debater on board. However, the reason I put forward it in the way I did is that on pure numbers alone, Mayweather is head and shoulders above all the other fighters in terms of p4p current contenders.
I did a stats thread a while ago looking at the current p4p top 10, and I might rekindle that to see how things have changed with this year's fights.
Re: It's what you want. It's what I want. Let the predictions begin. Cotto - PBF
Doesn't really make sense though does it. Those numbers i mean.
How many points would you get for beating the under rated Junior Witter.
Only lost one fight yet not respected. Why doesn't someone fight him?
My opinion is that boxers like Hattonwho go after the money won't have their names echoed in history.
Re: It's what you want. It's what I want. Let the predictions begin. Cotto - PBF
I would go with Mayweather. Anyone would have to after the Hatton performance. However, Cotto is stronger at the weight than Ricky, and I think he hits harder. He also uses the jab better and more often, and is not as reckless. Regardless of any predictions, it would be a great fight for real boxing fans, and would not be hijacked by knobheads booing a national anthem.

Basically, he's beaten more champions, more multiple time champions, and has been involved in more title fights and unification fights relative to his fights, than any other fighter currently active in the p4p top 10. I'd link you, but at the moment I can't get the thread search to work. If you search Statistical it'll come up. As for being echoed in history....I'm not sure they're Spartans y'know. ;)

You don't actually believe the Oscar fight was properly scored an SD, do you? I saw it 9-3. Oscar couldn't land a punch on Floyd to save his life. Not a close fight at all.

What are you commenting on it for ?? you haven't even see in it so your making yourself look stupid. Ask anyone who saw the fight if they consider it really a knockdown, like i told you plenty of times it wasn't caused by a punch, Mayweather had bad hands and he hit Hernandez on the top of the head and the pain was so bad his left Glove touched the canvas, it was not from a punch from Hernandez. In fact why am i arguing with you ?? you haven't even seen it you said yourself you haven't so its waste of time.

Your obviously a moron coming out with a childish statement like that.

If you look at my previous comment i said this.
He was knocked down against Ricardo Torres, yes ok it may of been more of a push but its still official knockdown."
Then you said i must of imagined it and tried to sound like a smart a** when in fact you made yourself look foolish.

Have you even seen the fight ?? Mayweather easily beat Oscar De La Hoya by at least 3 rounds. I can tell you now if you have seen the fight it was nowhere even close to SD.

He admitted to avoiding Shane Mosley ?? Mosley was Welterweight in 1999 to 2002, Mayweather wasn't even Welterweight until 2005, Mosley moved up to Lightmiddleweight in 2003 and was at Lightmiddleweight until 2006 i believe. So the fight could not have happened at anytime, Mosley moved back down to Welterweight in 2007 shutting out Collazo, then he was in line for his shot against Mayweather if he beat Cotto, but he lost and he isn't getting his shot simple as.
