Haye would be fighting a bigger, better, and more experienced fighter than himself, who definitely hits harder than him.

Why are you using a completely shot Brewster as an example? The guy had eye damage going into the fight and should have been medically retired - yet your making it out like Klitschko deserves an award for beating him.

As for Byrd is that the same guy that got brutalised by Ike Ibeabuchi in 5 rounds - how come Klitschko took so long to do what Ike already did.

Sam Peter has the speed of a hippo so again whats your point.

Speed will certainly be Haye's huge advantage over Klitschko along with Haye having reflex's that aren't like a robots.

As for Leonard-Hearns, Mosley-Forrest very true but we are talking Heavyweights here not Welterweights.

Klitschko has not got fast hands and he is very robotic. Were you one of the many on here that was laughably suggesting that Enzo was quicker than Haye. Alot of people are chatting about these fighters without having seen many of their fights and with little seeming knowledge of the fighters background etc.

I cannot believe you have nearly 4,000 posts and you come out with that. Haye got beat by Carl Thompson, a world chamipon who he fought in his 11th pro fight and he was winning until he GASSED OUT. Wlad Klitchsko got brutally KO'd by Sanders, Corrie Sanders is a bum seen in his last fight, he was a WBU champion which says it all and he knocked Wlad the fuck out and Sanders got KNFO himself by Rahman. Haye has more power than Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster, if you think Haye will be hitting twice has hard at heavy and your chatting shit by saying Sanders has more power than Haye, no fuckin way and Wlad's chin is awful.

Corrie Sanders wasn't bum at the point in his career, and seen as a dangerous prospect in the sport, How can you say a guy who is considered a hard puncher at heavywegiht can't punch harder than Haye? Rahman knocked out Sanders before he ever faced Wladimir. Besides whether Haye or Sanders hits harder it doesn't matter. Wladimir has really improved his defense over the past few years into one of the best in the sport. And he tired himself out against both Purity and Brewster because up until the point he got knocked out he was landing everything agaisnt Brewester and dominating that fight. Regardless of all this, Haye won't win, he is really good, but Wladimir is better, they both have the same weaknesses and the same strenghts. Only Wlad is naturally a lot bigger, and he has a lot better technique. I don't see how people can see that Wlad has chin problmes without saying Haye has obvious chin problems.

I think Haye is Vlad's worst nightmare*. He's probably faster, he's got the same reach and he hits really hard. Vlad isn't going to be able to win just with his jab and he's going to have to fight. We might actually get to see him in a great fight.

*Other than Corrie Sanders, obviously.

Who says Wlad doesn't have fast hands.....if he didn't have fast hands wouldn't everyone avoid that jab of his or the right cross????


Wlad has good handspeed and as long as he fights tall it's going to be hard for anyone to catch him.



You guys just go right ahead and give Haye some high expectations considering he fought a CRUISERWEIGHT and KO'd him. I hope he does well at heavyweight because the division needs some new faces but I highly doubt he beats Wlad.

Sanders has always been Mediocre at best his face is his biggest defensive weapon and he trains on the Golf course and has heavy hands.. He beat Wlad cause he had a punchers chance... Corrie is no bum but a full time golfer part time Boxer dont equal legitimate contender.. Haye has 20x the upside to Corrie Sanders

DUDE if you want to make a point stop contradicting yourself. You want us to not use Haye's fight years ago against Thompson and say it doesnt count yet you get to use Wladimer's loss to Sanders as if he hasnt improved since then as an example for why Haye would beat him?

You're already sleeping on a guy who even if you were correct (and you're not) has the same KO percentage as that of Mike Tyson.

Interesting thing is....he made the weight piss easily for Enzo and the whole speech (post Mormeck) 'It killed me to get down to Cruiser etc' was just bait to get Warren and Enzo thinking they were gonna have a crack at a drained Haye and they fell for it hook,line and sinker;D
Not even Adam Booth knew why Haye was saying this after the Mormeck fight but it worked a treat and they (Haye) fooled everyone of us;)
Bonin was the fella he spanked at Heavy and Haye nearly took his head off with a jab in the opening 30 secs and Bonin was no mug if you look at his record and ranked 11th or something,Haye will do some serious damage at HEavy i'm sure but i just wonder if his chin can take a Klitchko or Peter sized whack:confused:
Time will tell but im 100% positive he can bring one of the belts back in the next few years and i think they are going for Rahman then possibly two fights away from a shot :cool:
The division is tailor made for him though and his speed and accuracy should get him their.
Devastating power against Enzo who for me looked terrified on his ring walk,Terrified that he was up against a full strength Haye and not the drained one he thought he'd be fighting.
I bet my brother that Haye would take him in the second as i knew (after seeing Hobson nearly beat Enzo first time round on the Lacy v Calzaghe undercard) that Enzo's chin was well suspect and HAye bangs 10 times that of Hobson:)
Haye made an absolute fortune as well beating Enzo and he can relight the Heavies with his abilities,look and nice attitude.
So i agree that he can and will bring the Heavies back to the masses but really are their any potential classics that spring to mind?

I completely disagree. Haye feels he is not a big cruiserweight moving up but rather a legitimate heavyweight who fought below his natural weight class to win titles in two divisions.

Prime Tyson only weighed 215 lbs and nobody has hit harder in the last 20 years.

Prime David Haye weighs around the same and he'll still have hellacious power at heavyweight.

The division is hardly stacked with talent so Haye is a most welcome addition.

It's a stretch to say he's the saviour of the heavyweight division but discounting the Canadian Lennox Lewis Haye is probably the most exciting British heavyweight since Frank Bruno and quite frankly that is good enough for me.

I think he's arrogant and irritating but he will fight anybody and can lay out anybody if he connects with that big punch.

He's got to be a top 15 p4p fighter now, to go the backyard of the Ring champion in the division and knock him out in 7 rounds then defend against a fellow world champ and huge domestic rival and blow him away in 2 rounds is a momentous feat.

This kid should be getting the same recognition that Kelly Pavlik has been getting and I look forward to seeing him in the heavyweight division.

Haye should move to heavy there is always someone that will say they should be fighting him. He has done enough, time to make some big money and get rid of some lazy, untalented and poor heavies.
