Re: Junior Witter vs Timothy Bradley, Carl Froch vs Albert Rybacki Rd by RD, Results
Witter and co living in cloud cuckoo land. Worked hard enough to win the fight? Is he trying to kid us or himself?
Really interesting going into the Witter corner for the end of the 11th, Witter was obviously struggling and Brendan and Dominic said nothing. I think Brendan only openned his gob to the referee to let him know he was leaving the ring.

is that right one judge give it 3 rounds to Witter  that guy should be struck of from judging any fight in the future.
Is he related to Chuck Giampa at all??? After the Calzaghe fight by four rounds, and his giving Rocky a win over Mason Dixon, are we sure it wasn't him calling it for Witter too?

Good for Bradley...Nice kid who was willing to step into hostile territory...The press ate him up fir the decision and now he is a world champion...
Like I said maybe Witter needs stop telling the world how good he is and stop thinking about what the future holds...Worry about today....
He didn't it cost him...
Could not of happened to a nicer guy

I actually wanted to see Witter win. Because it gives him something to hate on Hatton with. But in reality I never liked him. Fukk him. I'm glad he lost

Re: Junior Witter vs Timothy Bradley, Carl Froch vs Albert Rybacki Rd by RD, Results
Tim Bradley, new champ, said: "All the glory to god. I've worked hard my whole life for this. I landed a great blow, took him out of his gameplan. Junior can say whatever he wants, he was desperate in there trying to knock me out. Everyone was telling Junior to go, but he was gone. I been studying Witter for a year. I always study, and I knew Witter was susceptible to the right hand. He was thinking about Ricky Hatton, and although he trained hard for me, his mind was on Hatton. There's a few fighters out there, but I'll let my promoters handle all that. If the money's right, I'll definitely give Witter a rematch."
Very well said, seems like a good modest kid and I hope he goes on to be a great champion. He came to Witter's backyard and beat him well. Props to him...if he's on here, show yourself so I can rep your candy ass.

Re: Junior Witter vs Timothy Bradley, Carl Froch vs Albert Rybacki Rd by RD, Results
Bradley seems plenty humble and sounds like he gave a good account of everything that's going on.
Anyone give him a chance against the others at 140?
Malignaggi? Torres? Hatton? Arnoutis? etc......

Re: Junior Witter vs Timothy Bradley, Carl Froch vs Albert Rybacki Rd by RD, Results
This Rybacki boy looks a bit like Brad Pitt having taken a course of chemotherapy. He's gonna get his arse beat.
As for Froch....great intro....British bearskinned drummers then Queen, "We Will Rock You". Cheesy, but absolute 100% proof quality. Just hope his mind is more on this fight than Witter's was on his. The Nottingham crowd goes wild slightly later than originally planned, with Froch having dropped to second billing.
Froch KO4

Can't blame a guy for making the best of a win-win situation.

Carl Froch in a much higher league.. he needs harder opponents.

Still not bad for a kid who has never fought out of California and went all the way to the UK facing a guy who is supposed to be the #2 (unless you ask him) fighter at 140.......That alone was a feat in itself

Re: Junior Witter vs Timothy Bradley, Carl Froch vs Albert Rybacki Rd by RD, Results
Who called it Froch in the fourth??!??!??!?!
I know, it was me. And why wasn't this one in the prediction comp I ask you?
Froch said: "He was put in front of me and was undefeated. With Inkin dropping out, and the training partner too, and Mick Hennessy did well to hold it together. I shouldn't go for it so quickly, and I was anxious to get big digs off. That uppercut is my speciality. Never say never about Joe Calzaghe, and I'm the no 1 now so he either has to fight me or vacate, and it would be a shame if we couldn't give the british public a froch-calzaghe tearup. I'm 30, but I wasn't a pro till I was 25, and I'm very clean living, and a pro should have about 10 years.
Big up to Nottingham Forest for getting back to the championship too."
