I said it in another thread, these forums will be crazy this weekend.
The energy level is already starting to build for this. I can see it in everyone's posts. Saturday the excitement will overflow.
I remember back a few months ago, someone asked about what fight they wanted to see, I said Cotto vs. Margarito is my super fight. Two of my top 5 favorite fighters going at it. I almost have this sick feeling in my stomach now, I guess they call it anxiety? LOL
I refuse to pick a favorite. Both guys represent all that is good about this sport. Two true warriors, ready to do battle.

I don't know why you would think that either. I see no reason to believe that this fight will be easy for Cotto. Tony ain't no Alfonso Gomez, and he ain't no rookie either. Well I just got back from watching Margarito workout I only caught a couple of min. of him because they started late as I drove up to the place Margaritos bus was right outside he's having a public workout at Sergio Mora's gym.... I didn't see Sergio there...
Tony looked calm and friendly as usual and was all smiles when he arrived but by the time it was time to get to work he was focused by the time he made it to the ring. I caught all the warm up and the 1st punching session he looked good as usual long strong punches. From what I saw he was concentrating on body shots...

I've never really been a fan of Margarito's as a matter of fact, I can say I disliked him. After the countdown I must say if Cotto has to have a loss on his record I'd prefer it to be be against Margarito over anyone else. He is truly one driven individual which I greatly respect.

I don't remember. I know I was a wreck before Pavlik/Taylor; but though I was nervous about the Hatton fight I already knew what was going to happen, or had a pretty good feeling anyways. Might have been me though, as I always get nervous before one of "my" fighters gets in the ring.

So far 3 people have turned down my invitation to come see the fight at my house...
They all said they wish to watch the fight in peace and without being in danger of being hit and or cut.
Prime example the night of Cotto-Torres, I ripped off my shirt threw my chair against a wall, slammed my hat on the floor and had no voice by the end of the fight... :-\
