In what way can you have the likes of Rocky Marciano and Frazier ahead of Lewis in any list, if they fought it would be a total domination by Lewis, also none of them have had career's like Lewis, Lewis beat everyone in his era, and this is my oppinion like, but Lewis fought alot better quality opponents than the likes of Marciano, actually it aint my oppinion, its fucking fact.
no its shit could lewis have kod louis like marciano did ?
By the time Louis and Marciano fought, I reckon Steelie could've knocked Louis out!! 8)Quote:

Cooper was a great British Champion & a good puncher at world level but I would not say he was even among the top contenders for the title.Quote:

Some of the lists are truly mindblowing.  I assume most of them must have been compiled by fellow Brits with all that irony.  Neon Leon's inclusion as a great made me laugh.  And Our 'Enery... don’t we have to narrow it down to those who at least won a version of the heavyweight championship?  I saw Cooper on that dreadful "Who was the greatest..." on Sky the other week.  He's obviously been dining out on his '63 fight for so long that he truly believes the fiction that Ali was given extra time between the 4th & 5th rounds. Â
I'm desperately disappointed that Primo Carnera never made it onto the lists; and Wladimir; and if you didn’t have to be a champ, a further smattering of Brits in Brian London, Richard Dunn, Noel Quarless, John L. Gardner wouldn’t have gone amiss.
1-Marciano
2-Ali
3-Foreman
4-Jack Johnson
5-The Bomber
6-Smokin' Joe
I'm gonna stop there, I may finish it later, but I can't decide how to proceed and I
don't want to water it down (some of the names on these other lists are laughable).
Oh and I already knew what all the critics would say about Rocky, the fact is he was
49-0 and the 49 does include Louis, Charles & Walcott. Also, mafia my penis!-it could be speculated that boxing in general has ties to it. Hell, Don King pretty much
personifies organized crime.
I'm sorry..... I just had to drag this topic back to the front. Â I just wanted to make sure I read it right the first time.Quote:
