I didnt see the fight but apparently Golota quit after the 1st round. Does anyone know the details? Sounds like he fell apart yet again. I was really pulling for him too.

Thanks. Strange round. Not unexpected though. Golota could never handle pressure from the 1st bell. His arm did look spaghetti-like but even without an injury he would hadnt have made it another round.

Golata may be the single must frustrating fighter of the last 20 years to watch, noone Ive ever seen has shown an ability to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory like him

He pointed at his arm early in the round and basically was struggling to use it during the round. The injury was the cause of him being smacked around after that. It didn't look like he quit. I think his arm was useless and he didn't want to take a beating fighting with one hand.
