Re: Ricky Hatton, "Manny Pacquiao is not versatile".
To dismiss Hatton as a Chump and not give him credit for his obvious achievements is not only dumb but downright stircrazily retarded!!
Manny is a quality fighter undoubtedly and will be a tough test for Ricky, but lets not pretend he is an unbeatable top draw fighter as we only need to look at his record to see that aint so!!
Ricky has made a number of valid points about Manny and him not being Versatile is top of the list!! He is a one track pony that will find it hard to Grind down Hatton and this fight can only end in a stoppage for Hatton after Manny tastes the sustained pressure and Power his opponent offers!
Re: Ricky Hatton, "Manny Pacquiao is not versatile".
4 words, handspeed, lateral movement, will, and lastly, lead lefts will wear down poor tricky Ricky by the 8th round. TKO because of a towel being thrown by Mayweather Senior. He'll throw in the towel when his son suffres the same fate as well from row # 3. Hatton may have heart, but he's in with a fighter on top of his game.
Re: Ricky Hatton, "Manny Pacquiao is not versatile".
You can cross Lateral movement off the list..the one thing Hatton does well is come in from different angles, confusing and pressurising his opponents...Manny won't get much opportunity in the fight to push on to Ricky because of it, so the Lateral movement on the offensive will be useless!
Hatton is given such little chance of winning it really surprises me..It just goes to show A win against an over the hill legend like Oscar really can catapult you to invincibility in some fans eyes;D

No PBF hit and held for almost the entire fight, rubbing his elbows into Hattons face on the break,Stooping down to force the referee to step in and seperate...and after a number of rounds caught him with a sweet hook...thats boxing! It aint no tickling contest;D But Manny aint as intelligent as Floyd!

Pac may not be as intelligent as PBF but he follows Roach's instruction very precise. That's why they're currently the greatest duo in the sport in the first place. Great teacher and great student.

This fight will stir debate..I personally think Hatton and Mayweather Senior bring an equal amount to the table...Hatton has been refreshed in there short time together!!

As for BOXING GOD, how the f*** can you say that Hatton is a B level fighter? what a load of bollox! The man is the Ring Champ at 140, 4 time world champion and current top 10 P4P.
Just because you box doesn't make your opinion fact!
I've said in other threads that this is a 50/50 fight. Too many unknowns going into the fight for anyone to be so damn sure of a win either way!

Ohh that's according to Hatton...;D If he consider the no. 1 P4P best boxer of the world "not versatile" and "1-dimensional" then that makes Hatton himself a "bum" and only "0.001-dimensional"... Hatton can't even crack the top 5 P4P list...;D

Pac-Hatton is TOTAL MISMATCH. Ricky won't win 1 single round and will get KOed in mid-rounds by a vicious liver shot. Mark my word.
Re: Ricky Hatton, "Manny Pacquiao is not versatile".
Said it before, when Manny stops punching and is under the slightest pressure he can't work on the back foot.If it continues he loses concentration and doesn't listen to instruction from the corner.
Seen a few times where he goes bob left, bob right...........repeat several times and then Oh yeah I need to punch as well , then he comes forward again. The minute he stops Hatton will be all over him like a cheap suit.
By the way does it count as necrophilia that Pac F****D a dead ODLH:-\

Could'nt agree more with your sentiments Jamie..The trouble with Manny is that he is so one dimensional that he can be read quite easily!! If he tries something new,he quickly reverts back to type and Ricky will hunt him down and pressureise him like an over the hill Oscar was never going to do! This is going to be a tough test for both fighters, but I can't see past Hatton either!
Re: Ricky Hatton, "Manny Pacquiao is not versatile".
There are a bunch of new people since I've been gone huh?
