I think I heard the song "El Cantante" and also a song played during the pool hall scene in "Carlito's Way." Sick! The Filipinos are a strong people and I pray for there road to recovery. Crazy how the group of folks were surfing down a river on a pile of banana leaves. The turmoil in Pac camp: usual Pac camp drama. Definitely concerned about Cotto's young trainer but Cotto's been training himself for awhile so I think he'll be ok. Also thought the Castillo segment was cool.
sorry to say.. they were not surfing... thats whats left of their house.. the roof and they didnt show the part after that roof hit the bridge it broke apart.. for all those people you see "surfing" only one person lived to tell the story. everybody else drowned.
Re: PAC/Cotto 24/7 episode 1
I don't mind seeing the culture and behind the scenes stuff.. I stayed up until really late to watch it even though I had to get up early.. And it kept me entertained..
But at the same time, I think the real purpose of the 24/7's is to get people hyped, and to draw more people into purchasing the fight...
Like I said, I do enjoy watching the culture and seeing their family and how fame works for them, especially in these smaller countries etc.. But to be honest, all my excitement and hype for this fight comes entirely from my existing love of both fighters and what this fight will potentially bring... So far this 24/7 has done nothing to turn that excitement up for me even half a notch...
In the end, what we are really waiting for is to see these guys blast each other in the ring for 12 rounds, not who has the most visitors over for dinner before they go for a swim... ie. I hope the next 24/7 show's in exciting and dramatic fashion, what both these guys are capable of doing,,, in the ring,,, when they are at the top of their game...
By the last 24/7, you want to be in the state of mouth watering anticipation for this fight, not Cotto's barbequed kebabs...

Hmmmmm, I just realised that my avatar is a little bit not right for the main section of the forum where people are looking at stuff at work..
I remember one person said when they are at work they try to quickly scroll past my avatar, and I understand as if someone at my work saw that, they would be like, what the hell is that your looking at.. Except they wouldn't ask to give me a chance to explain,,, they'll just think i'm a pervert looking up moaning women at work... so i'm hearby looking for another avatar now..
Re: PAC/Cotto 24/7 episode 1
Watched Episode 2 yesterday and I am a bit concerned about Cotto's weight specially after seeing this picture below. Look at his cheek bones, his jaw, etc. I guess Freddy Roach is pretty smart in demanding Pac's opponents to drain themselves, ask the refs to stop the fight if their opponent does something wrong, asking for the bigger piece of the pie, etc.
Having a rookie young trainer instead of his uncle who has been with him all the time, etc. Let's hope this fight is competitive.
