Donaire's been a bit of a waste of talent but that was impressive. Sidorenko isn't great but he's been in with some pretty good fighters, Moreno and Cordoba, and never embarrassed himself or anything. But he was just overwhelmed.
Dudes face just started gushing there at the end.
I think Montiels stature and speed,left hook will give him huge problems,he lapses a bit...almost too easy lately. Love that fight

The Montiel fight ain't gonna happen. Knowing Donaire he'll mess it up somewhere and fight another low level contender or something.
great victory by donaire. this guy has all the tools and the only thing negative i can say is when is he going to fight someone his own size? i mean, his last 4-5 opponents have either been minimumweights, jr. flyweights etc...
PSL, don't count montiel as a victim just yet. just because you look good against a little guy with little power, doesn't mean that world championship is going to be easy.
anyone who can go to japan and KO hasegawa, who i think is a terrific fighter, has to be respected. if donaire takes montiel lightly, he'll be in for a big surprise!!!
I thought Donaire was the main event? It is a better idea for him not to anyways. We saw another fxcking exhibition match. Hopefully Montiel is next.
There isn't going to be a Montiel fight. Something will pop up and the fight won't happen. Donaire's career has been of wasted talent although not on the level of Ibeaubuchi or Tony Ayala but who has he fought since Darchinyan? No one exactly.

Donaire looked great. The way he beat his opponent who was 34, inactive and couldn't hurt him. Was really impressive. Donaire I've noticed goes into his seek and destroy mode over opponents he towers over. Well he will have a height advantage over Montiel. Oh how I pray to God he comes out like that against Montiel. Do it Donaire. Go after Montiel like you did against the 7 KO having Sydorenko and the 2 division smaller Vargas. I dare you
