Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
"2/3s western hemisphere"...
Lyle, or as I shall now refer to you: "the boxing message board account holder"
...I honestly think that you'd save a lot more face if you just admitted that Wlad's style is not at all crowd pleasing... and that is why he isn't on HBO or ShoBox, I'm not saying this makes him a bad fighter... but it is a fact, plain and simple.
When you start talking about the fractions of Lennox Lewis's origins being the prominent factor in his netowrk coverage, rather than the exciting fights he culd be in... you're pushing it a bit too far Boxing message board account holder.
Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
I'd also be interested to hear what The boxing message board account holder has to say about the shit I have been reading today.
The fight is 99% done but is also hanging by a thread because Wlad has a random, possibly phantom injury... the way the contract stands as I understand it, Haye can plan and prepare to fight Wlad and then Wlad can either pull out or pull a switch on Haye and have him fight a different opponent than the one has has prepared for (ie: get his big brother to fight for him if he doesn't fancy it).
Seems like a typical example of the type of ridiculous shit you get from negotiating the Ukrainian brothers... only this time they've left out the ridiculous rematch clauses and worked it so they can pick and swap the opponent.
Also it's a little hypocritical considering the stick Haye got for his back injury (or whatever...) that Wlad already has something banked and ready to use...
Just wondering what the boxing message board account holder's thoughts on this are?
Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
The "2/3rds Western Hemispherian" part was a joke.....sorry it wasn't dry and unamusing enough to suit your British style of "humoUr"
Where were Lennox Lewis' biggest fights held overseas or in America?.....thank you
As for what you've read, the fight will happen, Wlad will fight the WBA title holder and Wlad will beat him, I honestly see very little difference in fighting the WBA title holder or Chisora other than the money 1 fight means, it's not like either have a snowball's chance in Hell of winning. If the "injury" upsets anyone (especially Chisora) they need not worry, it's not like Wlad will retire in October so they can have their fight then.
I certainly will enjoy seeing your boy KO'd and officially retired by Wladimir...don't cry when it happens ;)
Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
I won't cry Mr. Boxing Message Board Account Holder... it's just a sport and I do not personally know or care for David Haye. :)
Don't assume that all fans feel the same as you do about Wlad!
Yeah Lewis fought in America... his style (it certainatly wasn't his fucking character... hahah) made him of interest and a draw there... so he traveled. Shocking stuff, unheard of for a lot of Heavies nowdays.
Wlad doesn't have the style to be a continuous draw in America, simple fact... that is why HBO don't want him.
I have a feeling that the fight will come off, sure... I was more interested on your thoughts regarding the uncertainty that they have created as to who will be fighting and why Wlad is already whinging that his injury may not heal in time.
If haye is going to be such a walk over and you are happy to take 50/50 in Germany with him then just sign the fucking dotted line and show up... why the need for the security blanket(s)
...and no Mr. Boxing Message Board Account Holder, your 'humoUr' just wasn't funny! ;)

What would be best for boxing ...and again this is REGARDLESS OF WHO WINS so don't reply with bullshit like "It would be best for boxing if Wlad got beat"
As a fan of Wlad I of course want to see him win, convincingly and quickly, as a BOXING fan I would like a bit of drama, maybe a few knockdowns on each side, but in the end a clear winner and nothing that causes controversy.
I want one champion, that cant happen with Wlad and Vitali around. Best thing would be for Vitali to fight Haye, win and call it a day or lose and still call it a day.
Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
So in a roundabout way, Waldimir hasn't fully decided if he fancies it yet?

haye blasting out wlad would be best for boxing and is what i want to see
and there is a very real posibility of it happening
does that answer your question?

Not especially, but you're entitled to your view...I suppose you'd want a quick KO instead of one midway through the fight? That was more along the lines of what I was asking "What would make the fight exciting to boxing fans no matter who wins?" because we already know pretty much who everyone has sided for or against.

No, Lyle clearly stated your not allowed to say it would be best for boxing if Wlad gets beat.
With that in mind I think its best Wlad wins.

No I just figured since we all know who is pulling for who because of endless threads about this fight that I'd ask about what people want from the actual fight...do they want a 1 round 1 punch KO, a 12 round domination, a see-saw battle, etc.
And I asked what would draw the average boxing fan in and despite who wins I think a see-saw back and forth battle would be best for boxing even if Wlad was to lose

I think to be fair thats what most boxing fans would want from any fight, see-saw battle which results in a 12th round KO ala Rocky :D
For me thats how I would like to see it go.
Both getting put down, Haye in 2nd, Wlad opening up to take him out, but Haye rallying to get through the round. Haye starts slipping the jab and moving inside to the body to slow the giant down and to make him think about throwing the jab. Wlad get's wise to this and covers the body more and more, then BOOM, the Hayemaker lands a huge uppercut and wobbles Wlad in the 8th, Haye jumps all over this and fells the big man with a wicked body shot towards the end of the round.
Both become a little cautious for a round or two.
Score cards are very tight going into the last and both need to win the round to clinch the fight, with 20 seconds left Haye lands the mutha of all right hooks and Wlad falls like fell oak tree, never to get up and counted out !
David Haye, The NEW Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world, he gets this moniker cos Vitali steps in the ring to help his brother and Haye lamps him also, resulting in both Klits laying on the canvas convulsing like Montiel !
Just my take on how the fight may happen :)
Re: Haye v Klitschko is on official .........apparently
The chances are wlad will beat haye.
But if Haye was to KO wlad it would definately bring some much needed excitement back to the division.
