You need to decide when you will be ready, where you want to fight and if your opponent can be in the same place at the same time. It's your call, you have a potential opponent this year and I will be ready to observe the whole deal. Are you ready to go through with this? It can seemingly be set up if you are willing to suggest what is good for you. FinitoElDinamita when are you in Korea? Maybe that sets it up.
Re: Can a 47 year old become a competitive boxer?

With the summer weather in this country it shouldn't be that hard, still let's see what your potential opponent says.

No point hurting your nose for something you'll never do. From your posts it seems like you think you can give it... But you're not happy to mix it up and take it... Too many excuses/worries about 'getting hit on the nose' and only wanting to fight guys you think are weak.
I'd be amazed if you ever fought, not just because nobody will card you... But because I don't think you have the guts.
Ouch !
If the guy was for real he wouldn't be pussying about with his nose. If you're for real then get the fuck on with it... Too much TALK about how weak these guys are... Do something.
Trust me, we'll never see this promised video... Love him to prove me wrong, but he won't.
I agree with you.
Its just I don't think this is even a serious thread or proposition by brocktonblockbuster. I mean who the fuck sticks a plastic fork up their nose ? What grown man does that ??? ;D
Well, too much time spent in Korea can eventually turn even the sanest man somewhat weird. Sticking plastic forks up your nose in Starbucks sounds about par for course for a jaded expat. It can become very much like Conrad's 'Heart of Darkness' or 'Apocalypse Now' for those who don't read books. Brocktonblockbust sounds like he has spent too long in the wilderness and is having one of those mid life crisis things.
And good on him too as there is nothing finer than a man railing against finite existence and wanting to prove it isn't so by beating down on the local population.
You sir are a poet.

Might be a bit early for BBB who needs to practice more with the spoon and get the weight down. It would be awful to see an older man weight drained.

Re: Can a 47 year old become a competitive boxer?
Brockton will get robbed if it goes to a decision. Just ask Roy Jones.;)
Re: Can a 47 year old become a competitive boxer?
solar flare has disrupted the kids' phonics lately, they can no longer pronounce the "f" as they had been able to do last week.
Re: Can a 47 year old become a competitive boxer?
true end of july is a bit early. I need about 9 weeks from today for adequate training. Miles will there be a weigh-in and what is my weight requirement please.
