I agree, you shouldn't call Haye the "WBA title holder" because Valuev should still be called the WBA HW champion. Why don't you just call the idiot, that pretentious, over-hyped, semi literate, former cruiserweight title holder. ;DQuote:

Haye always tries to be comical and allover the place. I see that as him trying to cover up.
Theres nothing wrong with being scared. Its'a natural thing. If you werent scared I think you wouldnt be human. It's how you handle that once the bell rings that matters most.
Wlad knows that Haye has to come to him. Hayes the one that's boosting. Hayes the one writing check after check. His ass better fucken try because if he remotely shows in the ring that he's backing up and running. Ohhhhh boy.

How Golota "lost" to Ruiz is beyond me....Andrew put him down TWICE! Ruiz should have lost a few more times than he actually has, but thanks to Don King he didn't.
Ruiz is what he is, he's a limited boxer, decent fighter, cagey, and has a tough style....one which he didn't use vs a certain current title holder.

It is poor English, if you had to check that in a GCSE test you would have to mark him down, he is clearly uneducated and somewhat simple. But having said that, I agree that many native speakers use poor spoken English, it is one reason why I think teachers need to be qualified rather than just from a specific country. You have too many chav inbreds, spouting grammatical weirdness and it is just insulting to the ears.Quote:

I guess in the heat of the moment people lose their way with words and perhaps Haye himself was a bit "shook". It happens sometimes, but the way he kept repeating that oddity just bugged me. One time fair enough, but he just kept saying it and I thought "David Haye, that just isn't on". In fact, I found it downright annoying.
There is no reason why working class people cannot learn appropriate grammatical forms. But as I say, it is but a minor quibble. My spelling can become a bit dodgy when not in full control of my faculties.
I'm new to this forum & as a boxing fan I enjoy reading other peoples views & opinions that was until I saw (el kabong's) posts. What a fucking tit! Try unplugging yourself from klit & talking some sense.
i didn't see animosity at all. i saw two men flirting with each other massively!
it starts with the refusal to shake hands. a refusal to touch. haye tries to establish the upper hand, playing hard to get.
then vlad stats to beak down what he sees when he looks at haye... notices how he walks and talks... he comments on haye's "flashy flashy" look and comments specifically on his earrings. he mentions something about medical records...test results maybe...? vlad clearly likes to play safe. he's no fool. he can see haye's wild lifestyle and is weary of std's.
you notice haye starts licking his lips eyes locked on vlad's.
continuing the tease...haye chooses to open by introducing vlad's dickhead like nature to the conversation... mentions something about vlad crawling around on the ground with a shocked like look on his face... something about a man coming for him and how we'll see the gulf between a tremendous little man and good a big man. thats just raw!
then... that crazy stare down... looking at each other. eyes locked. lotsa lip licking. little smiles. you can see the hamsters in their heads spinning: july 2nd, i am gonna bang that dude!
then it happens! at 7:44 haye says it: "you can feel it. oooh... i've got a fucking hard on right now!" crazy!
maybe thats what haye's trainer was talking about when he said we'll never believe what haye's gonna do in the ring.
For sure, I will be surprised if we don't see a little Calzaghe/Hopkins style bumming.
The only thing I care about is that this fight isn't on HBO PPV for Americans but just on regular HBO championship boxing.
I BELIEVE MILES MAY HAVE THE SAME HANGUP I HAVE ABOUT PROPER ENGLISH. IT BUGS THE SHIT OUT OF ME TOO. CAPS WERE NECESSARY HERE. OK, case closed. I agree it has little shit to do with boxing. Muhammad Ali wrote great poems and never went to school.
I don't think you really need to go to school to know how to use your tenses etc, we all learn a language without direct instruction. But to be nearly 30 and saying something that is clearly quite weird is wrong. It also bugs me when you have people from the UK confusing there/their. I understand that we have localised slang language, but that isn't slang, it is simply using a word in an incorrect form. There is just no excuse for such basic errors. It is a sign of societal decay.
Everybody goes to school so there is no excuse for not learning to use language appropriately. I had to do it, you had to do it and David Haye should have done it. He is surrounded by language every day, there is no excuse for not getting it right. Wlad should knock him out and then give him a grammar lesson whilst the referee is counting, it would likely be the same amount of attention that Haye gave whilst at school.
