Jan Zaveck vs. Andre Berto fight thread - on HBO tonight

Miranda is game, but he has no chance of winning this fight.

I may be wayyy off. But Russell looks like he's stamina concious and just doing enough to get by...wheres the sustained explosion with a guy he can tee off on ???

I get tired of listening to him riding his own nuts, and the HBO crew always riding his nuts as well. Especially during Sergio Martinez's fights, they always try to compare the two, and it drives me crazy.

This is the most I have ever heard Jones talk about himself, but even so he is able to break down the fight and explain what is going on better than any other ex-fighter that I have heard.

Did you not see the Martinez/Dzinziruk fight? It was unbearable during that fight. It ruined the fight for me actually.

I think he';s got alot of potential... hes clearly got thing to work on thought.

Needs to realize he's not got great power, so just standing in the pocket isn't going to work for him stepping up. If he starts moving more and utilizing his speed I think he'd look alot more impressive.

If he's just coasting for the sake of coasting it's a bad move. It's about time he stepped up to dominate guys and make some kind of statement. I dont want another Chad dawson

When an opponents corner instructions are..."Get out...dont get hit...step to the side" its your duty to end the show on HBO.

Russell needs more ESPN shows...or a recorded sparring session. But he ain't ready for this much HBO grooming and pillow biting on his stuff.

Oh no question he's got potential and obviously he's young and has plenty of room for improvement, I just hate how hbo jumps on a decent prospects nuts like he's the next coming of robinson. He's a good prospect but just now they threw out the words "elite level skill" fuck of max.

Looked like his arms were heavy at the end there. Nowhere near ready big exposure
