Anybody watch Alcatraz? By the creator of Lost and starring Hurley. I'm not going to bother unless I just hear amazing things. I'm still bitter about wasting so much time watching Lost.

oh and season two of Game of Thrones starts April 1st.
Haha I'm right with you there, was obsessed with Lost like I have been no other show and still can't believe how badly it went to shit after season 3. I expected that they wouldn't really be able to tie up all of the plot lines and make it believable; but it's as if JJ Abrams just quit and let a fucking Chimpanzee take over at some point. I watched every episode to the finish and it really got painful towards the finale. And I do mean painful, because it was a show that took you for a great ride while it was good and made you become invested with the characters almost.
On another note though, the guy who plays Ben is in a new show that looks like it could really be good, heard about it?. He was about the only consistently watchable character on Lost after it became crap imo, really like him.
The show you are on about is Point of Interest with Jim Cavaziel.
I enjoyed the first few episodes but it got a bit samey and I lost interest.
I think there are about 11 or 12 episodes now and I watched 9. I might download the others at some point.
Just finished watching that new competition show on the History Channel tonight called Full Metal Jousting. Man you have to be a crazy fuck to do that shit.

And Henry VIII once jousted without closing the visor on his helmet and caught a joust to the face! Which began his health issues.
I've been catching up on tv shows from my youth I've seen episodes of 'Perfect Strangers', great stuff Balki Bartakimous, but that Cousin Larry was a huge Negative Nancy! I've got 'Max Headroom' in my queue. I want to see some 'Empty Nest' and 'Night Court'.
Perfect Strangers hahaha..... loved that show.
Funny timing on that, I watch channels like HGTV and DIY Network, and last Saturday a new show started called the Bronson Pinchot Project. I guess he buys old homes and loves to restore them. He's working on an old Georgian style home in PA in this series.

I think this weekend I'm going to pull out my Twin Peaks dvds. I haven't watched that in some time, and I feel like watching something twisted.
Watched Countdown to Revolution on BBC 2 last night which was drama-documentary chronicling the final days of the Bourbon dynasty under the ill-fated Louis XVI and his Queen, Marie Antoinette. He funded the American Revolution because he despised the English but broke France.
Caught the first episode of Homeland on Ch4 last night, it's been advertised for a month or so in th UK, and has an english actor, Damien Lewis as the lead role, also has the foxy Claire Danes, so deffo wanted to watch it.
It picked up awards in the states, the Golden Globes, so must be good. Got to say I was impressed by it, liked what I saw and will be tuning in from now on!
That was a top show. Just download it if you dont want to wait each week.
The whole series is great, and surprisingly, considering the whole plotline revolves around the "Is he or is he not a terrorist" theme they manage to not only keep the audience guessing but actually rachet up the tension each week.
It's a brilliant show imo.
For me the new series of Man, woman, wild is all that is relevant in terms of TV. It is important that a man know how to survive in the wild and torture his wife to some degree.
It's a good programme, but I am hardly spoiled for choice. When you start watching Piers Morgan in the evening you know you are short of laughs.
Yea im one of these that look forward to watching it week after week, makes something of a sunday night.
Dont know if anyone on here watches 'Whitechappel' on a monday in the UK ?
The was a series on last year which concentrated on the Ripper story. This series is all about other murders going on in the Whitechappel area, another good detective series thats worth watching.
And to finish off I really liked the Sherlock Holmes series that was on recently. The way they brought the famous detective into the modern world was really well done, again worth catching if ya can.
