Re: Adamek vs Chambers on June 16
First off bj flores is an absolute assclown both in and out of the ring. Eddie chambers is hillarious. With one arm or two and hell even an extra leg you'd loose to adamek along with most every other fighter in this division.

Chambers was remarkably competitive for fighting with one arm, but I still had Adamek winning about 8-4.
Kenny Rice knows nothing about boxing so he just regurgitates whatever Flores is on about.
The body work and work rate of Adamek was completely ignored, but not by the judges. Glad to hear Adamek won.
I have to agree. The way he made it sound Chambers was dominating Adamek from pillar to post. Yet, he scored the fight 7-5 Chambers.
I thought it was a close fight and if Chambers hadn't injured his arm, he may have beat Adamek. Unfortunately for him, I imagine that will be the only shot he'll get against Adamek. An Adamek versus Povetkin fight would be a good heavyweight scrap. For Chambers, he should look to fight Arreola or Mitchell.
What impressed me in this fight was how much movement and speed was in the ring for a heavyweight fight. Both guys were far from the overweight, out of shape heavyweights, that we too often see. It was a pretty good display of skill for two big men.

Yes with two good arms he may have beaten Adamek, but he def did not beat him with one despite what Flores would have the viewer believe.
It was a solid if underwhelming fight. I like Adamek so I enjoyed it.
Bryant Jennings looked good, could have stopped Collins, but Collins was all heart and a tough customer.
Jennings may be the 2nd best American heavyweight right now behind Arreola, and I think he is the fastest heavyweight for sure.

I'm not terribly impressed with Jennings. He keeps in good shape it seems, but he's yet to map out what kind of fighter he is comfortable being. Is he a boxer/puncher? A pressure fighter? A pure boxer? He just seems to give himself too many ideas on attack. He can work in behind the jab well enough, but then he'll fight out of a crouch and try to bob & weave in. Jennings has fast hands and good long arms, but he is constantly putting himself out of optimal range and therefore not getting as much as he could on his punches.
I don't think he's better than Seth Mitchell right now and I don't think he's better than Joe Hanks either.

I think Chambers would definitely beat Adamek with two hands. My big take-away from this card was being thoroughly unimpressed with Adamek. More commentary on the pathetic state of the HW division....

He seems a boxer to me with just enough power to hurt guys and possibly stop them. Def not a huge puncher, but he seems to be sitting down on his shots more, or at least was against Lyahovich.
I think Jennings is better than Mitchell, tho Mitchell could blitz him early and beat him, but I doubt it.
I've never heard of Joe Hanks.
Whats his best win ?
