How is 2 faded fighters who are 1 loss away from retirement bigger than the top 2 fighters in a division that are unified undefeated fighters facing each other and creating an undisputed champ!
I know you like Froch but those 2 things you just said are blind loyalty rather than basic common sense.
I agree with the second point. The first point is slightly out with the maths. Fenster is right about Hopkins and the PPV. Hopkins is looking for the biggest possible payday and if Froch wins and puts a good show on then Hopkins can come to Britain, play the pantomime baddie and earn a big chunk of the PPV, far more money than he'd get fighting anyone else.

The cheapest tockets for this show are £40. If Hearn had the same interest as Calzaghe v Kessler, hed be able to use a bigger arena and sell another 30,000 tickets. 40 by 30,000 is 12 million.
Hopkins is looking for the easiest big name.

I agree he'd have sold a stadium out if he could have. Your maths is still a little bit wobbly. Hopkins doesn't give a shit about having either Froch or Kessler on his resume, he just wants the biggest payday.

£1.2 million not £12 million and going back to my original point with all of the bullshit involved with the outside stadium which Hearn mentioned I think Hearn probably thinks he makes enough money anyway and it would be better inside the 02 instead of an outdoor stadium.

Ha! Twat! (Me)
Must remember to use decimal point before making massive sums...;D those extra tickets would have been Frochs purse out the way, once all the tax, insurance, security, rent blah blah blah.
Plenty of big fights have happened out side in terrible weather. The most notable off the top of my head, in Britain is Lewis v Bruno. Didnt stop those spectators. Once the tickets are sold, the promoter wont give 2 shits about the spectators getting cold or wet.
Maybe Hearn is doing it to creat the cliche "cauldron" but I cant see it and if he is and Froch loses he will be annoyed because of the extra tickets he could have sold.

Yeah, the multi-millionaire, that sold a PPV event to Sky, and sold out the 02 arena in a day, will be devastated to learn he doesn't know what he's doing.
Fucks sake (;D)
