That was one hell of a fight. Probably will be fight of the year. Don't agree he took a beating from the better man. I had Lebedev ahead when he was stopped and man can Jones take a punch. He took so many solid shots. There was a stage in round 7 I think where Lebedev landed 3 left hooks in a row. I see Levedev winning a rematch easy, would be like Cotto Margarito 2. This was like 1

Jones knocked lebedev out fair and square so i think its justified to say he was the better man.

Maybe lebedev can win a return but lasting damage has been done and all those shots will have aged him

I see Lebedev winning a rematch as well. As I mentioned during the fight..Tsyzu needs to teach Denis how to clinch. Clinching's a very underrated skill that often goes unnoticed.

Guillermo kept walking Lebedev down à la Margarito until he broke down.

It's a shame he's with Don King. We probably won't see Jones for a while. I would love to see a unification match between any of the beltholders.

Clinching is not a skill it is a move which we notice Wlad do quite a lot.

Maybe "skill" is the wrong word but it is a very effective technique. Not knowing how to clinch cost Lebedev the fight IMO. Clinching would have cut down on the number of right hands he took to that eye and would have gave him time to rest in-rounds.
